☆ BACKGROUND INFO
As many of you know my main tier I play is OU. However recently I started playing a little UU and when I suggested to Vance we have a Shoddy Battle he said he only had a UU/Uber team for now and I decided to make an Uber Team simply as I never played it. I'll need plenty of help.

☆ THE TEAM

Kyogre sets up the rain and hits extremely hard. Thunder/Ice Beam/Hydro Pump offer great coverage on Ubers such as Rayquaza, Groudon and Lugia. Why do I have Water Spout and Hydro Pump? Water Sprout lands a 2HKO on Blissey which means it thinks twice before switching in.

Uberdra, this is powerful if Kyogre manages to set up the rain without Groudon coming in to ruin the sweep. Swift Swim with Rain makes Uberdra the fastest Pokemon in Ubers and Draco Meteor OHKO's 252 HP / 0 SpD Giratina most of the time. Outrage 2HKO's the Lati twins with any boosts. If I can get a DD, well watch out Ubers, Kingdra will own your day.

Latias is awesome with Soul Dew and in Ubers is superior to Latios. Her Special Defence and Soul Dew lets her survive major hits like a Palkia's Life Orbed Spacial Rend which hurts a lot of my team. She is also incredibly fast and can slap a few CM's under her belt and sweep. Recover when needed.

Garchomp's is not too popular in Ubers but he works as a good revenge killers. It handles Jolly Rayquaza with a DD easily something I have trouble with. Outrage is for the power but Dragon Claw doesn't lock him into Outrage. Toxic stuffs walls ups like Lugia who can only get rid of the status by resting(which it never carries due to Roost's superior instant recovery).

One of the best walls in the game and its also fast. Throw up Reflect and Toxic. Ice Beam them until they die and Roost off damage. Very hard to kill and Pressure makes it even worse.

Is uber blissey, if you dont pack either calm mind or psych up you get owned by anything with calm mind. Also S-Toss is rofl in uber matches since it doesnt do anything to anything.

Icy Wind is useful to own stuff like Taunt/recover mewtwo and drop its speed so you can outspeed and get in a Psych Up, its also useful for the same reason on Safeguard/Refresh Lati@s.


I honestly think Mewtwo is superior to Deoxys-A, because the metagame really isnt kind to Deo due to all the priority and scarfers etc.


Also IIRC, Water Spout isnt a 2hko on Blissey without specs btw =x.

Cool thanks for the Blissey set, nah I'll stick with Deoxys-A, maybe MewTwo is sturdier but I like the addtional power and speed that Deoxys-A boasts.

I'm pretty sure its a 2HKO on Blissey taking in account, rain. I may be wrong though.

Eh, I'm new to the whole calculations thing so I might be wrong but max power Water Spout in Rain does 43.28% maximum to max HP/Max Sp.Def. I dunno what the standard Blissey runs in Uber but eh.

Blissey is only 2HKOed by Specs Kyogre's Water Spout, not Scarf. I'll stop by for a full rate in a few minutes (I wanted to clarify this).

Okay, so I really like how a Jolly Rayquaza straight up 6-0s you after a single Dragon Dance. Nothing on your team takes hits well, even Lugia gets KOed by Stone Edge with Stealth Rock in play. Outrage OHKOs Kyogre, Blissey, Latias, Deoxys-A, and Kingdra. Basically, you need help. First of all, get rid of Deoxys-A. It can't sweep with the abundant priority everywhere in Ubers. You WILL be killed by a Scizor / Metagross, which are running around willy-nilly. Swap it out for a Choice Scarf user, such as Palkia, or Garchomp. Both of them outrun Rayquaza and OHKO it with their STAB move, and also help with the ever common Darkrai (Sleep Talk on Chomp), and foe Kyogre (Palkia is the only real safe switch-in to it).

Your team plays very defensive, yet gets crushed by opposing stall. No entry hazards, no Rapid Spin, etc...means stall is going to absolutely murder you (Kingdra is your best bet and loses to Groudon). Giratina can Roar your team out as they attempt to set up, and it takes hits from everyone bar Kingdra and Deoxys-A (the latter doesn't come close to OHKOing, however). I don't like how Blissey just sits there. It can sort of lower the foes speed, but other than that, it fails against MixPalkia and the sort by getting 2HKOed. Plus, they can always switch-out.

Consider Whirlwind > Toxic on Lugia, it helps PHAZE stat-up sweepers like Scizor that can pose a problem to your team. It also stops Baton Pass Mew w/o Taunt from completely stomping you and giving things like Rayquaza the chance to sweep your entire team.

Use Grass Knot > Thunder on Latias too. Hits both Groudon AND Kyogre.
