Okay, imagine this scene: It's fashion week at your school. Everyone, even the guys, wanna look their best. Your bff is a fashion king/queen and is wearing a hot ensemble. All your other friends are wearing it too. My question to you is: Would you make your own style and stand out like a leader, or copy their's like a follower? Be honest.

As for me, I'm a leader. I lead by example. Not just in situations like this. When people are mean to an "overweight" person, I tell them to back off instead of doing it just like them. So, how about you? Have any stories? Don't make it offensive, please.

I'm neither a leader nor a follower, if that makes any sense.
I'm an individual, quietly clinging onto my own identity.

I would be a leader. I don't follow anyone (though some people think I do). I like being an individual in a crowd because I have my own ideas and opinions and if that means I have to be the leader, then so be it.
most people who are followers are probably just lazy.

Actually I really don't know my answer to this question cause I'm both? I dunno, but I'm sometimes a leader, sometimes not, but I don't exactly follow anyone?

I am always a leader, and I always have been. I don't like to follow other people and seem like the outcast of a group, the person who just follows people around and acts like I'm friends with them. There is this kid David who follows me and some of my other friends around just to act like he is part of the group, even though we don't truely like him because he is annoying and is always fresh with his comments. I don't understand why some people follow others when they don't even like them :/. I think I got off topic, basically what I'm trying to say is that I am a leader and I don't understand why some people are followers.

I'm a leader for the most part, though I have no problem with following when someone else is more capable.

I'm a leader. I like my opinions and would rather do things my own way if I had a chose.

Also your example is horrible; I probably would have chosen something else.

im a pure leader. i kinda just laugh at my followers. i see it as, u should always aim to be a leader.

I see this in two different ways.

I don't want to follow the norm, so I guess I would be a leader due to the fact that I do things my way. If I feel like wearing something like jeans and a t-shirt, I'll do it when everyone else is so fashion crazy. That also goes to ideas and opinions. Sometimes I don't agree with the majority of people.

On the opposite end, I am a follower because they blend into everything and nobody would notice. I sometimes hate being the center of attention and I'd rather hide in the shadows or the crowd, hoping nobody would see me. That's my quiet side appearing.

    So, I guess I'm both.

Me too. I don't do anything based on what other people are doing. I don't go out of my way to be different; yet i certainly don't wanna follow whatever everyone else is doing if I don't like what they are doing/wearing/whatever. If I honestly like whatever other people are doing, then yeah I will do it too. But overall, I just do what I like, regardless of other people.

I contrast by habit. My friends and associates know me as somebody who is incredibly outgoing and can't settle for anything but a enjoyably bizarre time. Even without realising, I tend to get myself into odd little scenarios that often leads to something humorous happening to either myself or others whom were, to their misfortune, very close by.

At the same time, I try to refrain from getting myself into needless trouble unless somebody's welfare really does depend on it. So I'm not afraid to stand up for anybody that's down and injured, heck, I made that my livelihood as I grew up. But as I've matured, I came to realise that there are better ways to handle most situations, even to the point I can still be a rather vindictive schemer in the process.

I've also had to take on roles that would put me in the position of a leader, such as being the vocal speaker in several gatherings and assemblies, talking to adults and making propositions, and advising my friends whenever they're feeling low.

Overall, I'm the leader of my own life and I plan to make the best of it whenever I can.

Pff, I'd wear tie-dye that whole week. X3
I have never followed anyone, I've always been a leader of my own thing my whole life.
Personally I don't like when more than one person look the same intentionally, or act the same almost entirely.
It takes the unique quality out of being an individual..
Oh yeah, and I absolutely hate when people pick on someone.
I immediately make them back off.. imagine if you were in their shoes.. how much torment it would be to have to deal with that.
Never have I let that carry on, nor will I ever follow any low-life who thinks it's funny to hurt someone like that.

You were born an original, don't die a copy~

I'm both, depending on the situation. I don't care what other people think for the most part, so some of my actions may be characteristic of a leader or a follower. In other words, I don't see people doing a certain thing and think to myself "Oh look, everyone else is doing it, so I'm going to too!". If I see something I like, I'll do it, regardless of whether other people are doing it or not. When the situation calls for me to step up and tell people what to do, I'll do it. I captained my high school hockey team, which really helped my leadership skills, and it's very humbling when a group of guys look up to you. In that sense, sometimes being a leader is more beneficial. Other times, it might be wise just to fade into the crowd and not get yourself into trouble. I'd like to believe that I know when it's the right time to lead and when it's the right time to follow.

I couldn't even careless if someone else dresses differently from me, but I'll be suspicious if everyone is following my style.

I won't lead, but you can follow if you like. That pretty much sums up my answer

I'd usually be a follower, because I don't tend to lead, and when I do, I fail at it. XD

    Follower, although I try not to be a copycat. I put my own style into things. But I'm definitely not much of a leader, as I'd rather be told what to do. ^^;

im more of a leader than a follower

Certainly a leader :D I'm not really one for following the crowd.
