Music Leaks

A leak, in musical terms, is when a song or album is being put out before it is officially released, usually online. Do you listen to leaks at all? Do you think it disrespects the artists/albums? Discuss.

I definitely do, but I make sure to buy the album being leaked as I get pretty guilty if I don't. I like to take music when it's presented to me, even if it's a week or so early. How about you all?

I never usually like listening to leaks, because I don't believe in cheating and I'd rather respect the artists than to be spoiled.

I listen to leaks if I care enough about an album to be excited. it's no different from it actually being released in my book as far as whether or not I'm gonna listen to it goes.

remember at the grammys happened and they paraded that 12 year old piano playing kid around and they were like We NEED to protect future of young artists like this kid over here. We actually mean our bank accounts. Give us more money. Who the fuck is this kid

I really don't feel any guilt about listening to leaks or torrenting or whatever lol

I'm not hip enough to know when leaks happen. I don't usually hear about new albums or artists until a few weeks or years after.

So, no. I don't listen to leaks. I don't think I would either just because it would probably be more work to find them, or more annoying if they were somewhere like youtube. I don't like listening to music there.
