4th Gen Legends - Real or not?

What I said about Lugia was fact.

"Father" can have many meanings.

Game Freak changed nothing. Ash never had flashbacks about the other Suicunes and such because he didn't feel it was really necessary. The same goes for the writers.

You stand corrected.
 
How is what you said about lugia true. On the show it was a mother child relationship

My point is that just because one being parents another doesn't make them related by blood.

There is no proof whatsoever that Silver was born at all. We only know that Lugia was protecting and raising Silver. We never saw Lugia make love to a Ditto, and Silver hatch from the resulting Egg, mainly because this is impossible anyway.

Incidentally, your signature promotes Fire, yet you have the Rainbow Badge there. You get the Rainbow Badge from Erika, who uses Grass Pokémon.

It was really only a metaphor to communicate my point. I don't really have a father/son relationship with my GameCube... It would be hilarious if I did, though. :P

Anyway, to stay on topic, what legendary Pokémon may we see in the future? Cresselia is the Lunar Pokémon, so we'll probably see a Solar Pokémon as well. If/when we do, it'll probably be a Fire/Dragon Pokémon. They haven't done that combination yet, not counting Charizard (Fire/Flying).
 
thats also funny. I love rainbows. anyway i guess i see your point but the way it seemed it truly was a mother child relationship. Maybe im the only one who noticed.

It was a mother/child relationship. It's just that it can't be between a biological mother and her child, because Lugia cannot breed. Silver appeared through other means.
 
huh i meant like what if.... how do you know it cant breed, dont give me that you cant do so in the game crud.

You can't do so in the game. This implies they can't do so in the wild, either.

I don't care if you call it crud, that's fact. There is no evidence whatsoever to support that any legendary Pokémon, save Manaphy, can breed. And Phione can't even evolve into Manaphy. However, the fact that we can't breed legendary Pokémon, save Manaphy, in the games serves as evidence that they can't breed at all.
 
Alot of stuff happens on the show that you cannot do in any pokemon game. Ohh currently listening to Gimme more by Brittney Spears!

The games are more consistent, and therefore more reliable, than the anime could ever be.

Yeah. Nice use of Pikachu there. Very nice indeed. But in the anime, it works, which implies that Ash and his Pikachu are basically the gods of Pokémon. Uh huh. A human and his mouse. Whee.

No, the anime is ONLY reliable when the games don't even touch the subject, or when the anime supports what the games already set forth.

You are too funny! Oh and were you calling me a noob cause ive been into pokemon for good 9 years. Well you went really far back to prove me wrong this time. Pikachu did not affect onix until brocks father charged it.

So? Ive been part of a tennis club for 6 years and Im still crap. noob is measured by mind not by duration.
Pikachu did not affect onix until brocks father charged it.
But it still affected a ground type, which goes agaisnst the laws of pokemon

Doubtful. Very, very doubtful.

Anyway, I looked in the Pokédex again. Apparently, Darkrai is more active during the new moon. That's when the moon isn't shining at all, right? Cresselia is said to represent the crescent moon, so perhaps this can be seen as an analogy for Darkrai's Bad Dreams being lifted by Cresselia's Levitation? XD

yea that really contributes to the thread. well done wake!
anyway, if you are going to look at legendaries, either you can choose to use the anime and their wacky antics, or you can only use the games as a reference. I prefer the latter. But who's to say, just because I cannot force a legendary Pokemon to get it on with a Ditto, that the legendary will not get pregnant on its own? Just because trainers are incapable of making the legendary breed, that does not necessarily mean that legendaries are unique, and that it may be possible for them to breed.
