'Lego' or 'Legos'

What is the actual plural of Lego? Is it Lego or Legos. I've always said Lego and everyone I know says Lego but whenever I hear the word on TV, usually on American shows, everyone says Legos.

Which do you think it is?


PS. I know this is a fairly pointless thread, but I've seen worse.

I've always used "Lego".
It's kinda like the Pokémon/Pokémons thing.

UK English: Lego
US English: Legos

I think it's Legos, simply because that's the way I've always heard it =S But yeah, I think it's just cause of like, the difference between the way people from the UK and the US speak. =P

"Get the Lego"
If I want to refer to an individual piece, it's
"Lego block" and "Lego blocks" but never Legos.

Well sweetie, to avoid confusion or a headache for the plural form of Lego, I just say "Lego pieces". XD

Anyway, it says Lego on the official packaging, and it's obviously not referring to just one piece, so that's got to be it.

I think it is "Lego" when talking about a generalized toy. I would say "legos" when ready to build with them or something. You know what, that made no sense.

When I was little, my friends and I always said, "Let's play legos!"
I suppose it just has to do with where you live. ;)

I say 'legos' because I'm not a pompous charlatan.

It is referred to as Lego (or more correctly, LEGO) by the company itself.
It is also of note that the company has specifically issued a statement urging people not to refer to the brand as LEGOS, rather LEGO toys and/or bricks.

Legos.
That is the proper Italian way i think.

I'm not really sure how that is relevant since the company isn't of Italian origin.
