Beyoncé, the reigning queen of surprises, unveiled the 20 second teaser for her upcoming (short?) film Lemonade today! Premiering April the 23rd exclusively on HBO at 9PM EST and 6PM PDT. Following the release of her buzz track Formation in February, Lemonade is all but confirmed to be a politically-charged film compromised of music from her upcoming sixth studio album. Pushing this theory is the fact that Lemonade is airing only four days before the opening night of her nearly 100% sold-out worldwide stadium tour, The Formation World Tour. Here's a thread where we can all discuss the upcoming film as the hype continues to build to what is guaranteed to be one of the most talked about musical and film events of the year. :)
Tomorrow night, Sunday the 17th, more information, possibly in the form of a longer trailer, will be revealed at 8:56 on HBO.
