6th Gen let's do a playthrough together!

That's such a good idea, I'm gonna have to copy you ;) will do 1-9 out of 9 of my favorite starters minus Unova, so we won't end up with the same starter :)

Alright so play-through is set to start tomorrow, so far we have 4 (possibly 5) participants:

danica
Mister Coffee
Living Arrow
and myself Slim Jesus Jim Slesus

... and possibly PokeHunterBlack. I haven't seen him active in the thread but I shot him a PM so hopefully he'll get back to me :) you niggas excited or what? I'm gonna PM a moderator, see if we can make a new thread tomorrow.
EDIT: Yeah got permission for the thread so thats cool. :)

I don't see us generating mad hype from this or anything but just incase, do you guys wanna take in new players once we start? I don't care as long as we're not too far in... up to all of us though. And round-robin type comps or are we all just gonna battle every one? Again, totally up to you guys.

How about we allow new players up until the second or third badge? I feel like by the time we hit badge three we'll be too far into the game to bring on new people. That would be approximately two to three weeks of open entry into our current playthrough.

That sounds good to me. How are we going to judge the winner? Or will we have a winner? Most battles won? I'm trying to come up with a chart, as we'd be able to keep track of every ones battle against each, specific player that way, but I don't think there's a way to create tables with BB or CSS :( But it's all about fun so we don't even really have to keep track I guess.. whatever works!

We could just post the battle results of each match up in the thread. I guess it could just be based on who wins the most battles in the end(?). Same I assume would go for Pokemon contests. The reward would be knowing you're the pokemon master of our play group. :D
I don't really care about winning or trying to get some kind of reward, just want to play a new pokemon game with some other people for fun. :)

Hey... So something happened. I let a family member borrow my DS and it came back to me with a broken screen. Won't be getting another for a while, so I can't play. >:(
