    Another Next Pokemon Thread! XD
    Okay basically speculate about what anyone in the main cast, rivals, associates of the cast (IE Misty, Max, May, Tracy, Gary etc.) will get as new Pokemon.
    Rules.

    This includes:
    New Pokemon
    Evolutions
    Pokemon Leaving/Release
    Pokemon temporary joining/re-joining the cast

    1. No SPAMing-meaning no "Leafeon SUXORZZR!!!11
    2. No flaming or flamebaiting-This also means you can't put down anyone's speculation.
    3. Be cordial and discuss things like adults.

    Alright I guess I'll start:
    Dawn-Chikorita or Leafeon

    I honestly think the idea of adding another Eevee evolution to the series would be just absurd. Eevee is almost as overrated as Lucario is ffs. >_>

    I THOUGHT Brock was going to get a Snover, but I guess I was wrong. James didn't get it either.

    It's pretty far along for any of the main characters to be obtaining Pokemon. :S

    But I think Ambipom will return. The fandom's response to its release was pretty...negative. :|
     
    Well the fandom will complain about anything...ANYTHING. >_>

    Anyway, I also kind of think:
    Ash:
    Buizel evolving
    -Yeah the Entire fandom is annoyed with it, so either evolve it to please half the fandom and maybe it will change it's personality too which will please about a quarter a the fandom.
    -Who says the water type of the gen CAN'T evolve

    As for Dawn, I just want her to catch something or another pokemon learning a new move.
     
    Ash/Satoshi
    Buizel has to evolve. Seriously, it's pretty weak when compared to anything Ash has in Sinnoh whose name isn't Grotle.

    Brock/Takeshi
    He's done. I'm hoping Tangela or something that screams "I'm going to be neglected!".

    Dawn/Hikari
    The female is always the promotional hound so I'll say a Johto starter. Hoping that it's Totodile so she could have Feraligatr when she returns.
     
    Not to say Totodile is bad, but she does have the completely overly-promoted Penguin. XD Not to say Totodile would not fit her though.
     
    I hope she'll get Toto' since I'm tired of seeing Feraligatr in Marina's "How to ---" videos. Chikorita, however you spell it, seems likely since May got a Bulbasaur and I could see the writers doing the samething again.
     
    By the same accord, however, May ALSO got Squirtle. :S

    But I'd MUCH prefer her with a Totodile...preferably one that doesn't dance in place.

    May also got a Squirtle and an Eevee

    Maybe Dawn might be a promoter of a 5th Gen pokemon
     
    Might I add May's Bulbasaur to the mix too? I mean she could get any of the starters, I kind of just want Ash's to come back and DO something.>_>
     
    If it were out of Leafeon and Chikorita going to Dawn, I would say Chikorita. They can give Leafeon to any filler character and it wouldn't particularly matter, but they're going to want to focus on promoting Johto and the writers always love showing off the starters, so I would say she's definitely going to get at least one of them, I think. I'm not sure if they're going to want to have Dawn have two Pokemon of the same type again.

    Kind of random: but I think the writers are already doing a much better job of promoting HGSS in the anime than they did with FRLG. Promoting the starters in the 12th movie, the Pichu ending, Marina references etc. all FRLG got were two starters and just saying that they were travelling around Kanto, but it could have been anywhere :/

    It's pretty odd how Jessie still has Seviper. I don't remember her using it much throughout Sinnoh and it's kind of out of date now. Wobbuffet seems more like the 4th member of Team Rocket now, so I can understand why they keep it, but not really Seviper. It's as though the writers don't know what else to give her. What I've always thought would be funny was if James's Mime Jr evolved, haha. It's never going to happen, but it would be so funny anyway.

    Ash has got new Pokemon quite late before, he got Phanpy just before the 7th gym in Johto, and Snorunt after the 7th gym in Hoenn. Seeing as the 13th movie is still going to be part of Diamond and Pearl, the main characters probably aren't going to change, so Dawn and Brock could catch new Pokemon and they would still have a bit of time to be shown. Although I don't think Brock will get any new Pokemon since his are hardly shown at all, except Croagunk. :/

    May got Munchlax right before the Grand Festival and Ash for Snorunt before his 8th gym.
    Edit: Also technically Aipom was caught before Ash got his last Fronteir symbol. I know her and Munchy were for Gen 4, but still.
