    O.K, so we have a little more than a week to go till HeartGold and soulSilver are released in America.

    I remember back in the summer holidays, I wanted the game so badly,and I though March was SO far away.

    But heck, I was the same way about Platinum, so yeah. XD

    O.K, so I want to see if we can reach a high 1000 posts before these wonderful games are released.

    I can't wait to see how the dialogue will be. Hopefully it's not as bad as it was in G/S/C.

    I think that a lot of the dialogue will probably be the same as the dialogue in GSC, as it's probably easier to reuse dialogue than it is to come up with new dialogue. Plus, a lot of video game dialogue is pretty cheesy anyway, so I doubt they would come up with anything better. Personally, I liked the GSC dialogue, as bad as it was at times.

    Hopefully the dialogue for the new characters is good. Do you have any idea how it translates directly from Japan, and if it's any good in those versions? Six months sounds like a lot of time to fix the dialogue, but there have been plenty of unfixed problems in Pokemon games before that give the impression that sometimes, Nintendo and Game Freak don't care too much about improving their products.

    In any event, the games will be enjoyable regardless of the dialogue. I'm looking forward to the "nostalgia effect" of the games. I miss GSC (even though my Silver still works).

    Recently this past year, I started to play Pokemon after long years with out it. I started with Fire Red, then moved on to Ruby, then Emerald, then Silver, then Diamond, then Crystal currently. Nevertheless I am extraordinarily excited for Heart Gold!

    Unusual thread... But I'm pumped for Soulsilver and the length of the game, since I haven't played any Gen II games before... This will be all new to me.

    If you guys like counting, we have The Count To Infinity in Other Trivia. But, otherwise, I think this thread is rather spammy.
