Thanks for the heads up about the code too! I wasn't even aware the codes were region-free until recently, but so long as it's the actual event I don't mind what language it's in (I can take a redemption video after all to use as proof despite its language).

With a bit of coordination, I can trade the Pokemon you want directly from my Bank to your Home. I'm not sure how Friend trading works in Home, so whatever we need to do for Meltans, feel free to PM me about as well (would have to PM for the Bank transfer method anyway).

You just need to add each other with home friend codes first: Mine's: JVJBXPQQXUYJ. Then once youre on each other's friends list you just need to be online at the same time and send each other a trade request. Then there's a somewhat lengthy GPS initialization and a 'waiting for other user' message, and when the trade is connected your home pokemon boxes will open in 1 lenghty scroll down list.
The annoying bit about trading on home is that it kicks you back to home's main menu after each trade. Friend trade has a limit of 10 trades per day. Also you can only trade on the mobile version of Home.

Do you want me to quickly pull the meltan and melmetal into shield? Pokemon in Let's Go do not have abilities. So currently they do not have abilities since I only pulled em from Let's Go into Home. Both are in premier balls btw, cause I though it looked nice lol. Once they get abilities in Shield though, they cant go back into Let's Go.
I need to trade over 2 pokemon anyway, so the Meltan is no problem at all (I got over 200 of them by now rofl).

I think it would be easier if you just send em from your bank to your home, then we trade the Melmetal first for either Volcanion/Diancie and then we trade Meltan for the other (and I'll send a PM with the shiny celebi code while the second trades over). Dunno if that works for you? Or would transfering them from your bank to your home be risky due to clones?

Alright, that sounds simple enough! We'll trade through Pokemon Home then, my friend code is PPEZXGWRAWFB. There's no need to worry about Meltans' abilities, if it trades then that's all that matters. I'll transfer my pokes up to Home now. Speaking of, there's no need to worry about them being clones either; as all Pokemon transferred from gen 7 to 8 get a unique identifier in Home (even if it's the exact same copy), the clone deletion thing is worked around by doing the actual cloning in gen 7.

Accepted your friend request. Dunno when you're available to trade, but I'll be eating dinner in about 30-45 minutes. I'm ready now and I'll just keep periodically reloading the page.
I got 2 weeks off atm (1st week being pretty much over by now), so I can be more flexible with my times than normal if you're not available today.

Easy done, I gotta sleep in a bit too but I can definitely fit the trades in! I also transferred a normal Diancie in case you wanted one too (you mentioned collecting the missing events); any fodder Pokemon will do. I'm sending this and just trying to initiate a trade request as well and see if it goes through.

Idk if the code works in the mobile version of Home btw (or if you can even redeem codes in Home), I redeemed my own copies of Zarude & shiny celebi in Shield.

Unfortunately theres no way to tell the level of your pokemon in Go. It's just capture points. You can in Lets's Go but you cant evolve them there. And the only thing required to evolve is candy, so I ended up evolving a low level one cause I couldnt tell, dunno if thats a good or bad thing (I assume it might get stronger than a Meltan evolved into melmetal on a higher level, that is if you actually use them).
