    Do light colors make your eyes hurt?
    Do you like light colors or dark colors?
    What's your favorite color?

    I've had lots of friends on here complain about some of the light colors I have on here but for me they don't hurt at all, have you ever had that problem with another person's profile or your own?
     
    Light colours are painful for my eyes. It's one of my vulnerabilities. BE SURE TO REMEMBER IT, AS I WILL NOT LEAVE MANY OPENINGS FOR ATTACK.

    Dark colours are far more preferble. Black is my favourite colour, though technically it is a tone. EMBRACE THE DARKNESS! DEFEAT THE DIVINE LIGHT!

    Some profiles are retardedly light and it almost makes my eyes bleed. ONCE I RULE ZE UNIVERSE, LIGHT PROFILES SHALL BE BANNED FOR ETERNITY!

    WAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!
     
    Light colors annoy me a bit. I mean, personalization is great and all, but I'm rarely fond of anything that will detract me from reading a post.

    My favorite is pink, white, and black. =)

    I never understood the "light colour makes my eyes hurt" thing when people say it happens to them all the time. I seriously feel they should get their eyes checked.

    It's all about contrast. Most of the times, people who claim light colours make their eyes hurt are people who live mostly in dark rooms, or people who keep the rest of the thing in their PC or in here in dark themes. That's when suddenly switching to even a nice looking light coloured profile will put stress on their eyes from the high contrast.

    For me, I make sure things are somewhat matched to reduce this contrast to a pleasant level for me. But even if I don't, it almost never bothered me.

    I like all colours, light and dark, and I prefer lighter colours more most of the times.
    It's all about combination. Good combinations are always good to look at, and if bad even dark colours look bad.

    Like I said, I like all colours. But the combination or place a specific colour is used in is what makes the good or bad for me.
     
    To be honest, it all depends. Sometimes light colors are nice, peaceful, and are nice to look at. But then there are times when they clash with eachother, or they clash with a dark color and doesn't make it appealing. Also, to me there is a different between 'bright' and 'light'. Just because the color is light, it doesn't mean it's bright. Pastel colors are a nice pleasing examples of this.

    I like both dark and light colors, depending on the shade and whether or not it hurts my eyes. My favorite color is a prime example of this. I love the color red, but too much of red hurts my eyes, and I prefer darkers shades of it, such as this shade, which has actually grown to be my favorite.

    No, I love light colous, but occasionally, I stumble across some very blinding profiles with light colours such as lime green and purple. @___@ They really hurt my eyes.

    I'd actually prefer a poll option that says something like neutral, haha... I mean, I don't hate light colors, but I am definitely not the biggest fan. I greatly prefer my dark colors though so I just ended up checking "hate" anyway. :c

    Like soft colors? Like this and this? I think they're nice, and I like using them in signatures when I have lyrics and I emphasize a word with a soft color and bold. But I don't like this or this, if you consider those light colors.

    Silver. idc if you consider it a color or not. If it has a crayon to go with it, I say it's a color.

    I'm really fickle with colors. One day I'll like a color, the next I'll hate it. Right now I much prefer darker colors to lighter ones, but light colors in general can be nice. Light colors certainly do hurt my eyes! Especially when I have a headache...

    Though, my favorite color is a mix between the combination of steel blue and lime green. Next to each other.
     
    Light colors don't make my eyes hurt, as long as they're used with the right colors. I like dark colors better, but light ones are okay too. My favorite color is blue or purple.
     
    This all depends on contrast t my eyes. If the colours are like fluro colours then they hurt a bit, or if it it contrasting awfully to a darker background. But if the colours mesh well then I like it. I generally like light backgrounds better than dark, as it is harder to contrast to, and is soft on the eyes.
     
    Most of them do, but it depends on the bg color, if it's dark it makes my eyes hurt a bit more then if it was a light bg. I prefer using a dark color font, and my favorite color for a font would have to be black.
     
    I hate light colors during that first half hour after I wake up. They hurt my eyes a bit until my eyes adjust. Otherwise I'm cool with them.

    My favorite color is purple, the darker shades of it.

    To your last bit I say anyone who writes in bright red, pink, green, or blue is on my automatic hate list.

    I've got customisation view turned off, saving me the potential hassle.
     
    Light colors are the sexiest thing ever I swear. Seeing someone use those wonderfully subdued hues skillfully makes me extremely joyous on the inside.

    Now bright colors can go die in a hole. Barely anybody uses them right.

    I'm not exactly a fan of light-coloured profiles, but as long as I can see the text without having to highlight it it doesn't matter to me.
