Limits on What Anime Is Talked About?

    I'm just wondering if we can talk about any anime, including the "adult" ones. I don't know where to search for this information.

    I guess it depends. Linking to sites with pictures of it? No. Discussing if it's good or bad? Borderline since the rules kind of prohibit it but...
    Talking about a particular series? Probably would involve too many references like discussing breast sizes and sex scenes etc.
     
    yeah, what Kairi said, all the above is a no no! XD but then again, im never awake to watch Adult anime so i couldnt know :P
     
    I don't know if they play hentai on television in the US. o.o; *shrugs*

    I would say no to the question. Although we would like to cater to everyone's needs and interests, we have to remember that there are young people on the board. We wouldn't allow someone to strike up a conversation about a pornographic film in Other Entertainment, so we can't really let any talk about sexually-based anime go on either. =\
     
    Isn't it just best to look at the general PC rules and decide if a particular Anime fits those rules?

    Don't worry. I wasn't going to post any dirty pictures (let alone any others), and I just wanted to talk about plot lines, trying to leave out the sex that's involved; however, I'll just refrain. Thanks.

    I dunno. There was a Love Hina thread, and its usually rated OT (16 and up). And its pretty hentaish. O.o;

    But then again, maybe its alright, just not to talk bad stuff ^^;

    That's more "mature teen" Adult would imply constant and graphic sex, I think. And no, they don't show hentai to my knowledge on TV in the US. ^_^; Love Hina's mostly fan service, even if it's a little more mature. I think.
     
    I'm not saying I know anything or have any authority etc, but I'd think that it was OK to talk about anything as long as you don't go into the "dirty bits"? Like, storyline and stuff?
     
    Well I guess that depends on the kind of adult anim?. Some of them are purely sexual plots, even if it's wrapped up in some adventure. I mean it's not like you can go
