The link to Dark-type poll in Notices section doesn't work, Firefox prevents opening it because bit.ly is reported to Google Safe Browsing as a suspicious site, here's the report about it: https://safebrowsing.google.com/saf...y/FPTdark?cc=6264a133e6f851fba87803135186268f

The link to Normal-type poll works fine but I recommend to use direct links because URL shorteners aren't needed in this case since the URL's aren't visible.

I don't think there's anything to worry about here though. That report just shows that the bit.ly domain was flagged as a whole, simply because people do in fact submit malicious links through the URL-shortening service.

On the other hand, I will say that you do make a good point in saying that the direct links could in fact be linked to in the forum notice above.

Hmm... I haven't heard of any issues with using the shortened URLs in notices to this point, but I appreciate it being brought up. It's actually a lot easier to track stats using the custom links rather than the direct URLs, which is the main reason I've been using them in the notices, along with my signature, in the updates sent out by the social moderators, etc.

I was planning on using them again in the coming rounds of voting, but if this proves to be an issue for other people as well, then I can always switch over to a different service where I can track stats, or just use the direct links to the polls. Of course, in the mean time (even though the current rounds of polls are closed), you could always just head directly to Pokemon Polls, where the threads will be stickied at the top of the forum.
