LOL I FEEL OLD MAN

First off, I totally read that title wierdly...
Regardless, my thoughts. When I age, I never feel any older nor do I feel any added sense of maturity. It's not something I dwell on. For me, it's always been the things in which I have experianced, the that people I've met and the lessons I've learned. The age old saying of "You are as old as you feel" does make a great deal of sense also, to judge someone on age is one of the most shallow things I see every day. I've never stopped to think, say and analyze my age, I've gone through things that grown men and women have not, men and women who may be deemed perfectly mature and grown up. Many people my age will say the same. Your age is calculated with the things you've done, the people you've loved, the days you've left behind but rememered throughout your life, maturity grows with essence, and with that we all grow old by our own accord. No date can signify someone's maturity, or how old they feel or act. Let me echo the echo here and say, "Age is merely a number".

No. It never really occurs to me that I'm getting older. I don't feel any more mature that I was before either. I guess I age in a very monotone way. If that makes any sense to you at all...

Age is not a factor for me whether I should (or do) feel older/more mature. There are moments in my life when I feel like a five year old, and others fifty, depending on the situation I am in. This is true for me especially because I am younger than most people in my grade in the schools I've been to, yet I feel older than most of them a great deal of the time. I have, however, developed a habit of telling people to get off my lawn frequently in the past year.

It actually depends on the situation.

I feel old at work sometimes, when I realize that while I look younger than most of my co-workers, the majority of them are actually one or two years younger than I am. And sometimes I feel old when I think about the past. But, for the most part, I realize I'm still pretty young, and, to be honest, I probably still act it most of the time.

Every year at my birthday I go "oh yay. Another year of not feeling any different." My next birthday might be different since I'll be legal to drink, but other than that, I don't foresee it changing any.

I like being a clever ass, so it's up to the witness whether I am mature or not.

Most times it's the latter, lol.

I tend to think of myself as mature, but still needing constant improvement. yay low confidence levels

Err... I don't know. I feel old sometimes, young sometimes. My teacher believes that there is a "perfect age", the age that you will get happier when nearer, and happiest when reach it. As I am starting to feel happier, mine seems to be soon.

Yes, i feel old quite often, when i'm remembering of what was maybe 2 years ago, i'm always shocked it's already that long ago. Feeling old is also my reason to hate birthdays and sylvester, i don't like the idea another year of my life is over... I'm already afraid of becoming 18 since that number pretty much means the best years of the life are already over, even though i'll finally be allowed to drive a car without my mother sitting next to me then
