Lol, my IQ is genius level :D

IQ doesn't really mean anything anyway. It's just your capacity for intelligence. You could have the world's highest IQ and be really stupid and naive. BTW, blue, if you got 220 then the test is *really* not accurate because IQs can't be measured above 200, that's where the scale stops.
 
ya i no...but in some case's it can be put higer but that's with a diffrent type of iq.

Don't base ANYTHING off of IQ tests. They can be a very inaccurate way of judging someone's intelligence. For example, someone could be extremely intelligent, but maybe they clam up or aren't very good at tests. Or someone could be feeling really sick or tired while they took it. So a test like this, with so much pressure put on the time limit, can really throw someone off and the results won't be as high as they should be. Not only that, but this test wasn't very long. I don't think I've ever taken a real IQ test before, but I would suspect it would be much longer than that (I've been tested for giftedness, but I dunno if that was an actual IQ test... didn't seem like one).

yeah, I agree. IQ tests are pretty much worthless. However, when comparing people against other people who took the same test, it's easy to tell the difference between those of high and those of lower intelligence. And the questions weren't based on prior knowledge- they were simple logical thinking problems that I felt tested my overal intelligence. The example I like the most was the question that asked if a glove will fit on your other hand if you turn it inside out. Unless you've either tried it or have excellent logical thinking problems, you're not going to get it right unless you guess 50-50, which is still measuring your guessing intelligence (multiple areas of intellignce).

Not necessarily. There are 7 different types of intelligence. When I came to that question, I simply imagined a glove in my head and turned it inside out. I'm good at visualizing things, so that question's answer came instantly to me. That's visual/spatial intelligence ("picture smart"). =\ Someone could be "stupid" academically, but still get that question right because they can picture things in their minds easily. I think the best way to measure intelligence would be to combine several different types of tests together, to accomodate all strands of learners and thinkers. @_@
 
I am a member of Mensa and that is one of my accomplishments!
 
In school we took the 7 intelligence type test for fun. I was very well rounded in all areas of intelligence except for bodily/kinsenthetic. I'm atheletic, but I don't like woodworking and all that stuff. I'm a pretty visual/spatial thinker myself. I agree with you 100%, However, I still think this test has some legitimacy.

That'a what the BBC do every year in their "Test the Nation", in which they test all 7 types of intelligence. When I took that test (although it is isn't proper since you need to be 16 or over to officially take part), I got 130. In this test that I took, I got 148.

I also think it would be better if we posted our age and how long it took to take the test, as that would give a fairer comparison. Here's mine

Time: 10 minutes

I just took it, but I haven't got my results e-mail yet...oh well. I was kinda startled by all the high scores, but your score tends to be inflated if you're under 16, apparently.

Well as I said... IQ tests have an uncertainty of 75 or something... so actually the 124 and 185 are both "acceptable in terms of accuracy" for an IQ test. x_x;

However, it's not surprising at all if you got 180+... we all know that you're a genius ;p
 
We're all geniuses, w00t XD... actually, that is the most inaccurate IQ test on the Net, they always pump up your score by a heap. But I don't know what my real IQ is, I skipped three years of school so it's probably not too shabby XD.

Carol, what's your first language? French? You know, the guys from Simple Plan are all French-Canadian XD... but they don't sing in French... o_O XD
 
I dunno...I had a score of 135 and...i think this is a mere assumption of our intellect...
but then again lol...i am prolly average....=p my brain is warping i took to many tests
