I think I get IVs. IVs are the base of each stat. They randomly happen, unless they are bred. Three of the IVs will come from the parents. The higher the IV the better, highest is 31 and Natures help with that. They Add 10% to one stat and -10% to another...
It means that even if you have two pokemon of the same level they will have a different amount of power. (Along with EPs) It makes a stronger pokemon.

You mean making Poffin and stuff? If your not using it for contests it;s just for happiness in terms of breeding. Some you get normally by getting the handouts each day, but some of the last ones you only get from points in PBR.

@Nacon D: I need a female for breeding purposes.

I only need it to be an Electabuzz. I can level up the Elekid. I just need it to make Elekid eggs.

Beat the Elite Four again...And that Horsea is still like...10 levels away of gettign the move I want. lol..
