Yep. So I'm finally putting together a team to take on a n00ber who's been harassing my friend about move choices, and saying I suck for saying that Blast Burn is a horrible move. If he doesn't agree to my OU battle (though he probably has no idea what the hell a tier is), then I have to prepare for the worst:

    Lead:
    Gliscor @ lefties
    Impish
    252 HP/6ATK/252 DEF
    Earthquake
    Ice Fang
    Stealth Rock
    Roost

Jolteon @ Salac Berry (provided I can get one)
    Timid
    6 HP/252 SPATK/252 SPD
    Baton Pass
    Substitute
    Agility
    Thunderbolt

Togekiss @ Lum Berry (I got two of them, which one should I use?)
    Modest OR Timid
    252 HP/152 SPATK/104 SPD OR 6 HP/252 SPATK/252 SPD
    Nasty Plot
    Roost
    Aura Sphere
    Air Slash

    Blissey @ lefties
    Bold
    150 HP/252 DEF/108 SPDEF
    Heal Bell
    Seismic Toss
    Softboiled
    Toxic/TWave

    Tyranitar @ Life Orb
    Adamant
    6 HP/252 ATK/252 SPD
    Dragon Dance
    Earthquake
    Crunch
    Stone Edge

last slot's open. I'm currently breeding for a Chimchar (NP Mixape), but I'm having one hell of a time of it right now. I could use some wish support as well, but I don't know about having two Pokemon (Vappy and Togekiss) weak to Electric attacks.

Advice? I need all the advice I can get.

Very Gyarados weak, i think that Vappy (If you can get HP Electric) or possible Starmie would go nice here >> Jolteon.

As for Tyaranitar, use Jolly on its DD set or its pretty meh, as in "Why does Jolly Garchomp outspeed me after a dd ?". Jolly tar outspeeds ALL base 115's after a dd, which is way better.

Use the first spread for Togekiss too and dont lead with Gliscor >_<.

That infernape would be cool as a lead, especially Scarfed

    Infernape@Choice Scarf
    36 ATT / 252 SP.ATT / 220 SPEED
    Rash nature
    - Overheat
    - Close Combat
    - U-Turn
    - Hidden power Ice

Make a really good lead if your willing to get the HP Ice that is =p.

This would also help that terrible weavile weakness..

whoops... I was so busy thinking about trashing the n00ber I didn't think about the standard weaknesses xD And yeah, I really feel it's too much of a hassle to breed for a good HP... breeding for that and a good nature/IV's would drive me insane.

Just to make the picture a little clearer, this kid's (probably) gonna be using Hyper Beam-like moves a lot, cause they're his fave. I want one of my sweepers in on a, say, Frenzy Plant and start setting up and blowing his ass away. But before that, I need Jolteon to pass AT LEAST one speed boost to Togekiss or something.

In any case, a Lucario or Bronzong would be nice for the aformentioned weaknesses in the team.

Well, tell him this note. Blast Burn sucks, Hyper Beam sucks, and if he thinks otherwise, I'd like to propose a challenge if he has wifi. Kick some nobber! WOO! (and yes, misspelled on purpose thanks to my server -_-.) You could probably sweep him with Blissey to be honest.

SweeperDos does give you a lot of trouble. D_A's given you most of what needs to be said, so yeah.

Jolty wants HP Ice > Agility.
Toggy wants lefties, Modest, and yes use the first spread.
Lead with Jolty to counter lead Gyarodos or at least scare them away.
    Everything else was alredy said.

Why though? I need an agility passer for Togekiss...

You should try to squeeze a Legendary on there, maybe Deoxys-E or Heatran. If the kid is as much of a noob as he sounds, he'll throw a hissy fit as soon as he sees them. :P

Also, as Archer said, SubSD Chomp @ Salac Berry would be a lot of fun to abuse in between Hyper Beams. A +4/+6 Garchomp with +1 Speed will wreck everything ever.

A Bronzong lead (or a Breloom somewhere) will probably drive him insane. And if you decide to battle him without Sleep clause, well...

Well, everything except Grumpig. But nothing beats Grumpig.

Why not replace Roost for Wish on Togekiss if you want a Wishpasser?

    One question; Why does Blissey have Heal Bell > Aromatherapy? >>;;

I'm assuming that's because Roselia and Hoppip (the only Pokemon that can breed Aromatherapy onto Blissey in third gen) aren't available in Emerald. Heal Bell is virtually the same thing, and is learned by Skitty, who is available on Emerald.

EDIT: Then again, Chansey herself isn't available on Emerald...

Yep. I got an Emerald, and a Chansey on it, but unfortunately, no Roselias.

And Togekiss needs roost in order to keep going, especially without Lum Berry (I'm ALWAYS scared of getting statused)

You can worry less about Status since you have Heal Bell Bliss. The only 2 good Soundproof Pokemon, if not the only two, are Mr. Mime and Exploud, which are rarely seen anyway.

Oh-kay. *rushes to get another lefties on his Sapphire*
