I think so. TMoHS segment gave me a hint. There are several references to Haruhi Suzumiya. So My guess is yes. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
 
It was Kyoto Animation that did both of them, wasn't it?
 
Yup, it's been dubbed, and yup, it's made by Kyoto Animation. XD I love the Haruhi references. They're fun. Actually, Lucky Star does spoofs on lots of different series. 0.0
 
The Fullmetal Alchemist reference they made in one episode made my day~
Except Ed was brunette xDD But it was a cosplayer,and better than no Ed at allll~

Yes it's true there will be a Lucky Star Season 2 and there's even a short trailer right now on the website's.
