They seemed to have switched the image of both flying types this time. In the old Gold, Ho-Oh seemed more angry, while Lugia was more peaceful and serene. This time, Ho-Oh looks more calm and free flying, but Lugia is more fierce.
I think the new art for the two legendary Pokémon is very nice. It has some moderate detail, and gives them that kind of "I'm a legend, so be afraid" look. The Arceus art lacked this, but I think the art for these two has made up for that, and then some. Very well done.
Not only do they look good to me but it matches the symbols as well. The mini Lugia matches Lugia of course, and the heart shape matches Ho-oh's wings.
The old art was okay. I have to agree though, the new Lugia and Ho-oh artwork is much better. Ho-oh always has its wings spreaded out but I'll learn to get used to it.
YEah, they never seem to do much with Ho-Oh, but Lugia it looks really cool the more I see it. I'm quite anxious and I wouldn't mind anymore if they turn out to be the box art cover for the game's release.
I wished they had did something a little different to Ho-oh, but other than that it was perfectly fine with me. I like how they made Lugia look fierce though.
If they had to make these better, I would really like to see it, because there are a lot of cool looking positions that can be done with these two legendaries in an art drawing.
Not a big fan of the new art. I mean its better than before, but theres nothing really special about it. Nothing really makes them stand out. Dosen't really matter to me though I'm more concerned on the non legendaries art.
If those [the appearance of Lugia and then the appearance of Ho-Oh] were to be the new Box Art covers for HeartGold and Sould Silver over the pictures they are showing now, then that would be really cool. By the way, in case you were wondering, this was a simply Google Search /lol/.
