Well, guys, I've been lurking around PC, making numerous teams, a handful never used. So, I've decided to spend some of my free time, by that I mean a whole week. Seeing Obi's stall team, I made a rough draft of this one, and discussed with ABYAY and Mike, the latter not helping much, about which Spikes I should use, whether to choose Perish Song Celebi, yeah. Until I came to D_A, the master of Stall, (or so I claim lololol =x.) and asked him whether good old ToxiStall or ParaStall was liked more for him in today's metagame. (Platinum, mind you.) He claimed ParaStall was his favorite of the two, so it didn't give Forretress moveset syndrome, and that pleased me considerably. That was considering paralysis still messes up tons of things, especially Sweepers. Please enjoy trolling my thread to oblivion once again, S&M Moderators and Super Moderators. >=/ I don't remember how many matches I've laddered with this, but I'm sure I faced .tRUTH with an older version of this team. During the tourney, of course. Pretty sure the strength of this Stall team depends on Blissey for special walling, so yeah, I'm getting really concerned about that lol. x_x Although now he suggests the ever so common Toxic Spikes, so lol.

    Rotom-h @ Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 252 HP / 64 Def / 192 Spd
    Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)

    • Discharge : Can put paralysis on Pokemon while still hitting moderately hard with STAB.
    • Overheat : Poops on Scizor, and hits Grass-types as well for some lovely damage.
    • Shadow Ball : Second STAB anyone? ?_?'
    • Reflect : Softens up blows from Lucario and other Physical Sweepers. <3
Heatom is one of the best Heracross and Lucario counters besides Guts boosted CB Night Slash from Heracross but the only status I have on this team is paralysis so no lol. Thanks to Nintendo for making a premiere fighting-type counter. Also helps on being a Scizor check, with the oh so appreciated Overheat. EVs give it the power to outspeed and OHKO all Lucario and Scizor, most likely a lot of Heracross too with Stealth Rock support. Lead only because of D_A. =p

    Mamoswine (F) @ Expert Belt
    Ability: Snow Cloak
    EVs: 176 HP/116 Atk/196 Spd/20 SDef
    Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    • Ice Shard : Unless it's a Yache Mence, Salamence is pretty much dead because of this move. Also destroys Sash Pokemon. (stop posting Yache Mence D_A >=/) =]
    • Earthquake : STAB move that means Heatran doesn't just go ROFL, same with Tyranitar and Scizor, e.t.c.
    • Stealth Rock : Vital moves these days, son. Ensures or almost guarantees a KO, must not be banned. :3
    • Toxic : Messes up Sweepers and Cresselia, plus still threatens Zapdos, although it takes a bit more time to really start scaring it.
Mamoswine is a good Salamence check, although pretty much I'm threatened by Yache Mence, so please help me on this. That means Forretress doesn't have moveset syndrome. 8D This member is most likely the first to go, admittedly. I am willing to let go of it in exchange for a DDMence counter that can learn Stealth Rock. xp

    Forretress (F) @ Shed Shell
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 252 HP/56 Atk/200 Def
    Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    0 Spe IV

    • Spikes : Seeing as this IS a Stall team, at least 2/3 of the entry hazards must be used, in this case Spikes and Stealth Rock. Can really get annoying if all 3 layers are up, even 2 could start nagging people, 18% damage. :3 Other hazard is covered by Mamoswine if you just skipped to this part. ._.;
    • Rapid Spin : All stall teams need a spinner, honestly. It isn't good if your counters or checks are getting pressured by enemy Stealth Rock, Spikes or Toxic Spikes, at all.
    • Gyro Ball : Bug Bite will never be used. Why? Simply because this is a ToxiStall team, which would not weaken Gyro Ball and considering how Bug Bite is so weak, almost no one would use it. =p
    • Toxic Spikes : The last of the entry hazards, useful if Sweepers decide to stay in lol. =]
Forretress is a useful Spinner and is most certainly welcome on my team, although I only abuse one of the 1 hazards it can learn. Please note it's a (lol) Weavile counter, and Bug Bite, again, shall not be considered since it's too weak. Shed Shell means Magnezone doesn't just go laugh at me like no tomorrow especially if it has Hidden Power Fire. Instead of the old 252 HP / 160 Atk / 96 Def EV spread, I'll use a much bulkier 252 HP / 200 Def spread, while still having some Atk EVs invested to pump Gyro Ball's strength.

    Machamp (F) @ Leftovers
    Ability: No Guard
    EVs: 252 HP/20 Atk/236 Def
    Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    • Dynamicpunch : Lovely STAB move sure to cause confusion, which is welcome on a Stall team. Also hurts Tyranitar, which is Machamp's main job on this team, excluding status absorbing. One should note No Guard means it will never miss, so yay. ~
    • Stone Edge : Zapdos, Salamence, and Gyarados are hit in a single move. Criticial hit chance is always nice when the move doesn't miss.
    • Rest : Considering how stuff will likely not last long without some sort of recovery, Rest is needed to keep up its HP and allow it to counter Tyranitar.
    • Sleep Talk : Without this move Machamp would be utter setup fodder garbage, which means Scizor or Lucario could come in and just set up blindfolded.
Machamp is an awesome Status Absorber, with Guts, it doesn't even need RestTalk, but I prefer confusion damage and never missing moves over potential damage. After all, that damage from confusion really adds up with the 3 hazards. ;3 EVs provide a good chunk of bulkiness, while still having some offense, albeit only 330 Atk. RestTalk is pretty much for status absorbing obviously, credit to D_A for suggesting this. My only good Tyranitar counter, I may add, this makes it even more valuable. and myself for bothering to edit this.

    Vaporeon (F) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/68 SDef
    Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)

    • Surf : Makes it an effective Heatran and MixApe counter, also the only STAB it has.
    • Wish : Vaporeon without recovery wouldn't last long against Gyarados and all the other Pokemon, plus a whole chunk of the team needs it, especially Forretress, who has no Lefties either.
    • Protect : Does give a high chance of Wish being useful and helps stall Pokemon. Since I don't like wasting a turn setting up Wish only to die the next turn. >:
    • Hidden Power [Electric] : The only effective way it can counter Gyarados, pretty much. Also hits all Bulky Waters except Swampert harder than the 3 other moves it has right now.
Vaporeon is a good Gyarados counter, arguable the best MixApe counter on a stall team besides Tentacruel, and an awesome Heatran counter excluding Toxic. >:< Also gives Wish support, for Forretress, Machamp, Mamoswine, and itself. Probably the most supportive member of this team. Will most likely not remove this besides if you can find something better. o_0

    Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 Def/80 SAtk/176 SDef
    Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)

    • Softboiled : One of the best recovery moves Blissey learns without having to wait, and since Vaporeon already covers the Wish support section.
    • Seismic Toss : Beats down Heatran if needed and makes it not so setup fodder. How do you expect to hurt things with a neutral non-STAB move coming from 75 Base SpA with only 80 EVs invested in that kind of offense lol. =o
    • Flamethrower : Just so Scizor and Metagross don't go "OLOL free switch in!!!" on me. :D
    • Thunder Wave : Cripples Sweepers like Lucario and Mence, really helpful these days.
As a Stall team user, it is almost certain one would use Blissey to aid in Special Walling. It is the 2nd Heatran counter on this team, only Gengar counter, SpecsMence counter, and Nasty Plot Elf, besides the one that explode on you. >=[ It is a useful member of this team, obviously, and its slot cannot be removed at all costs. Unless you have some kind of Special Wall that does its job better, that is when we'll talk.

Well, yeah, I really suck at writing long descriptions, sorry Rya. No, this was never a copy of Obi's team and most likely never will be. This team has some major issues depending on sets of Pokemon or items, for example, Yache Mence almost completely screws me over. >: Please excuse lack of effort put into some descriptions of Pokemon, like Machamp or Vaporeon. I'm most likely going to ladder with this today. Results will come in soon, so be aware if you see me posting stuff like this: "WON 4 MATCHES LOST 2 TO AN ELF" =p. No, I'm not editing my RMT with that stuff because I want people to actually read the posts and find out what's happening. I'll update the Pokemon and items though, I assure you of that. Yes it was used in the non-SR tourney, but I changed it significantly after I faced .tRUTH to make it adhere to Platinum changes. So no, I did not cheat by using Stealth Rock or Rotom-Heat in the D/P tourney Fishy made. :)

Eww, i actually said i prefer parastall, not that it was better... i dont think o.0.

Could make that machamp rest talk since status isnt kind to you really.

Roar on vappy could work too, due your lack of a PHazer...which is kinda bad for a stall team.

Id actually put Toxic Spikes on Forry too and switch to toxistall btw =x.

Oh and rotom is a better lead imo, your team doesnt need Light Screen either. Put Reflect on Rotom >> it (to help with cushioning blows from scizor and t-tar and other Pursuit switch ins, aswell as fighters) and put Toxic >> reflect on mamo or something.

Will do, Asian music hater. ;D Yes, this includes ToxiStall, so Roar > Protect on Vaporeon, and Toxic Spikes on Forretress. (AAAAAA) Lead Rotom too.

Uh, yeah, make sure Rotom doesn't die. lol that harshly opens you up to CB Cross hits here and there, and they do hurt a lot *Is in CB Cross Craze, bear with me.* In fact, CB Gallade gives you a ton of trouble, smacking around Machamp with Psycho Cut, Night Slashing Rotom (although you must be paralyzed for this scenario), and Psycho Cutting Machamp.

Really, those are your only problems. I can't say "You're weak to X if Y dies" because that goes back to darktyphlosion's statement of how teams are MixApe weak if Vaporeon dies.

You said that twice. >=/ Yeah, I'll make sure to keep those problems minimized, thanks. <3 ~
