Magby,MAgmar and Magmortar vs Elekid, Electabuzz and Electivire

So, ive always thought of these fire and electric pokemon as rivals, so i was wondering, which one do you think is better.
It would have to be Magmortar, its got a freakin' cannon on its arm for pete's sake.
Elctivire is good, but MAgmortar brings home the gold.
Elekid is much better than Magby, thee way it generates electricity between its ear- like thingys on its head, I dont really like magby.

And now, Magmar absolutely owns Electabuzz.I watched this fight where Electabuzz and magmar both had the same Evs, special attack and speed, and the magmar destroyed it, totally finished.

Electabuzz = Magmar
Electivire < Magmortar

I think Magby just looks stupid. Elekid too, but to a lesser degree.
I loathe Electabuzz the same as Magmar.
Electivire may have one of my favorite movepools, but Magmortar is just a badass... Who also has a good movepool.

Also, you shouldn't battle NFE Pokemon like Electabuzz and Magmar together >_>
Though there isn't any reason why one is better than the other pre-evolution... And Electivire puts Magmortar out of commission with Earthquake.

Actually, they form a triad with Jynx/Smoochum, as they were the representative fire, ice, and electric Pokemon back in RBY.

Also, Electabuzz' rival is Scyther.

Except that Electabuzz and Magmar have comparable evo lines. Both Scyther and Jynx are two-stage lines. Plus, Electabuzz and Magamr got their baby forms and evos in the same generations.

Any, on topic, I prefer the electric line. Look at Elekid. Its a walking plug. magby is...I don't even know. It's just ugly. So:

Elekid > Magby

Magmar actually looks like its head is a rear end. There's no getting around that. Plus, I love Electabuzz's cry in the anime, even though it makes no sense XD. So:

Electabuzz > Magmar

Now, Magmortar would get point for having cannon arms...if it wasn't so damn fugly. Electivire reminds me of a wrestler. Magmortar reminds me of a genetic mutation. So:

Electivire > Magmortar

I'm an electric specialist so my opinion would be a little biased. But I believe that a properly trained Elekid/Electabuzz/Eletivire can do much better than Magby/Magmar/Magmortar

The Mag line I like abit better. I guess its cause theirs less Fire types then Electrics.

Elekid and Electibuzz were sweet pokemon but man electivire ruined it. Man i cant stand him. Not that magmortar is much better mind you... but just barely wins. Both look pretty stupid to me though =T

Interesting poll...

I never liked Elekid and Electabuzz, but Magmortar was a total failure. With Roserade, they set the bar high, and they didn't meet it. Electivire was alright, actually.

Fire and ice are my favorite elements but im sorry in this thing the elekid family has to take the cake i mean they look cool their strong there awesome i personallly would go as far to say they are the best electric pokemon in game

Magby is my favorite pokemon, so of course I think it's way cooler than elekid. But elekid is pretty cool.
Magby >>> Elekid.
Magmar = Electabuzz

And the last two I don't even care about. They are both ugly and stupid, just like the rest of gen 4.
