I've never done a challenge before because I didn't want to restart, but now I think I will since I just restarted emerald.

    Name: Neaken
    Version: Emerald
    Pokemon: Dustox/Beautifly, Ninjask, and Armaldo.

Since I don't know what wurmple will evolve into, I'll post which one it becomes when it evolves.

Ok, you've been added to the list & the challenge has started incase you were wondering.

Got my first badge, so I'm guessing it's a good time to update.

I chose treecko as my starter, cause it can learn cut. Beat my rival without leveling up and caught wurmple. From level 2-4 I used treecko to help train it, but then I began only using wurmple. Once it evolved into dustox I went on to route 103. I dodged as many trainers as I could for training nincada later on. Once I reached Rustboro I went north and caught my nincada. After a while of backtracking to battle the trainers I skipped, I challenged the leader with my level fourteen dustox and level twelve nincada. On her geodude I just used harden five times while healing with potions. Even the super affective rock moves didn't do much after boosting my defense that much. Three confusions later I was up against nosepass. I used up my remaining potions trying to poison it with poison sting. Once it was poisoned I stalled it out untill it fainted. I then finished of geodude without any difficulties.

    Progress:
    Dustox Lv.16
    Nincada Lv.12
    Treecko- Cut HM slave

ShusukeFuji, I'm sorry but no, you'd have to use Beautifly & Ninjask only until you could get a Heracross

Edit: I caught a Wurmple but at level 7 it evoled to a Cascoon, I caught another Wurmple, level 7 it evolved to Silcoon, it's currently a level 17 Beautifly, but I can't beat Roxanne lol

Hmmm this challenge is very interesting it would be extremly difficult with 6 bug types let alone three good luck to you all i may join when i get my ruby back.

    'K, so heres ma progress.
After battling Roxanne, I discovered something disturbing. Since I chose Treecko as my starter, my rival has the fire type starter! I still wanted to battle her though, so I prepared for a difficult battle. Lombre was easily taken care of with a gust or two. Then came Torchic. Dustox went down in a blaze of glory as he brought Torchic town to one or so health left. As long as Torchic didn't use ember on Nincada, I would have it in the bag. Of course, Torchic did use ember. So, I lost that one. On my second try things went more or less the same, except confusion was able to confuse Torchic, earning me the win. After healing up, I did all that stuff you can do after getting cut and then head over to Dewford. I got flash and taught it to Treecko before trekking deeper into the cave. I didn't really need flash to find Steven. I couldn't do anything to wild Arons so I had to run from those, but I fainted the wild Zubat after a fury swipes or two. After that I went into the Dewford gym. I owned everyone with a combination of confusion and gust, and got my second badge. After arriving in Slateport I booted out team aqua and defeated the trick house challenge. I was a little sad about Nincada evolving, because now instead of being immune to electric it'll be weak to it. I then braced myself for my re-confrontation with the fire type starter. Wingull was defeated without any problems and Lombre was a pushover as usual. Thankfully, Combusken's new second typing and Dustox's good defenses allowed him to finish off Combusken quickly with confusion. Now I just have to prepare for the difficult fight ahead against Wattson.

    The Team:
    Dustox- Lv.23
    Ninjask- Lv.20

    Treecko- Cut Flash

Well, I beat Brawly with no difficultly, but Watson, he is too hard for my Illumise & Beautifly : (

    Current Team:
    Beautifly @ Lvl 32
    Illumise @ Lvl 26

Light Screen is my friend :3

After beating May I entered Mauville and got rock smash. I taught it to Treecko, bringing his HM total to three. After that I beat up all the trainers I could, because I knew I would need the experience for gym number three. After leveling up, I challenged Wattson. I was beat. By a lot. Voltorb and Electrike went down to two psybeams, but magneton was a lot harder. Being a steel type, nothing I knew could hurt it. So, I failed. I decided to train Dustox up some more, seeing as Ninjask couldn't do anything for this gym battle. After just one level, Dustox learned something that made my mood change quite a bit. Light Screen <3. Forgetting to buy any items, I charged into battle once more. As usual, Voltorb and Electrike were easy. Once Magneton was sent out, I put up my wittle scween of wight. After a few critical hits from both sides and having to sacrifice Ninjask, it was my non-paralyzed Dustox versus Manectrik. I was lucky that I had so many cheri berries, because I had forgotten to buy any paralyze heals. The following match-up was long! I eventually ran out of things to heal up my mothy, but luck was on my side and I won! What did I learn from this: I hate steel types!

    Da Team:
    Dustox: Lv.32
    Ninjask: Lv.26

    Treecko: Cut--Flash--Rock Smash

Well, I got desperate so I got the help of a friend, he trained my Beautifly to level 43 & my Illumise to level 38, beat Watson : D

    Updatez!?

So, I beat all the trainers I could and did all that stuff with team magma before making it to Lavaridge. Once I got to Flannery, I prepared myself for one tough fight. My original plan was to teach dig to ninjask (which is possible, strangely enough), but I decided to have a go without doing that just to see if I needed to train more. Dustox was able to crush numbel and slugma with the help of light screen and took their overheats like a man. Torkoal, on the other hand, had me in a long stall war. I was constantly setting up light screen and healing with moonlight until it finally fell to ninjask (dustox was hit with an attract so I had to switch out). I knew ninjask wouldn't be able to do much against camerupt, so I let it take the overheat and faint to let dustox be less threatened because of the special attack drop. With some help from light screen and a few psybeams, the fight was finished.

Being able to go to the desert now, I got the last member of my team, anorith. When I went to the gym of Petalburg it was still to weak to fight, so I slapped on an exp share and led with my ninjask. The first match up was my ninjask vs. Norman's spinda. With relative ease, I maxed out my evasion, speed, and attack. Now time for ninjask sweep LOLOLOL! Slash and spinda was gone. Slash and vigoroth was gone. Slash and linoone was gone. Slash and slaking... wasn't gone!? My heart raced as the words "Slaking used Counter!" appeared on the screen. "Slaking's attack missed!". I was saved by double team. With a final slash, slaking was gone and the balance badge was mine.

After a lot of training, my team now had dustox, ninjask, and armaldo, my teams newest powerhouse. It ripped through all that opposed it with ease. In no time at all my team was way over leveled and face to face with Winnona's team. I lead with ninjask once again, attempting to do the same thing as I did to Norman. I didn't quite get enough boosts for ninjask to sweep, however. Now if only there was a way to pass ninjask's boosts to another member of my team... Wait, there is! I quickly selected baton pass and prepared to have some fun with my new team member. A few ancient powers later I had the fortree city badge in my possession and taught aerial ace to armaldo, he deserved it.

A lot of battles, leveling up, and boring surf routes had passed, but I was now ready to demolish Tate and Liz of Mossdeep. Xatu and claydol against dustox and ninjask. Xatu used calm mind while ninjask used swords dance. Dustox tried to do some damage against claydol with silver wind, but the floating top of doom brushed the attack of easily. Ninjask took quite a hurting from ancient power, whereas xatu keeps doing his thing. I baton pass out of there and set up light screen with dustox. Xatu powers up even more, and dustox gets to near KO range from another ancient power. Armaldo beats up xatu with an ancient power and lunatone is sent out. Claydol goes into KO range and lunatone takes LOL damage from silver wind. Dustox is now really scared and has to moonlight while armaldo finishes of Claydol. It's now my injured dustox and relatively fresh boosted armaldo against lunatone and solrock. Both of them deliver a psychic to dustox, who just barely hangs on just as light screen fades. I know dustox won't live for long, so instead of healing I take my time to get light screen up again. Armaldo, on the other hand, destroys lunatone with a super effective metal claw. Solrock uses flame thrower on dustox and I prepare to say good bye to my fluttery buddy. Fortunately, it somehow survives from a combination of light screen and good special defense. A final metal claw from armaldo finishes off solrock and the battle.

After doing some stuff with the 'storyline', I am now ready to face the final gym leader.

    The team:
    Dustox Lv.57
    Ninjask Lv.58
    Armaldo Lv.59

    Treecko~Cut~Flash~Rock Smash~Strength
    Marill~Surf~Dive
    Wingull~Fly

    Well seeing as how boring my posts are; I'll format them like Mr. Person is, it should be fun;

I headed through the smog of the Lavaridge town gym, I eventually found Flannery, eagerly waiting for me. I started the battle using my Beautifly, hoping it could beat these beasts of flames. My Beautifly easily took down her Slugma, Numel & Camerupt, then came the hard part: Torkoal, in a series of atacks my Beautifly fell, next out was my Illumise, who, too fell to her Torkoal, I shall keep trying to win...

    Wow, that is scary xD

Edit: I won, I came out triumphantly, next onto my father, Norman! : D

    I'mma pogeymonz master xDDDDDDDDDDDD

My last post was ginormous, so I'll try to keep this one somewhat short. Against Wallace I went all armaldo sweep OLOLOLOL!!!11 after passing some boosts to him with ninjask. The elite four went down on my very first try, but it was still too long for me to remeber correctly, so I'll just post my team.

    Team Name: Just For Lulz

    Ninjask Lv.60 (the play maker)
    Item: Lax incense
    Slash
    Swords Dance
    Double Team
    Baton Pass

Ninjask is a very good pokemon to start off the battles with. He provided needed support to let armaldo beat his way to victory. Sadly, ninjask didn't get any kills, but he was very important to the team none the less.

    Dustox Lv.64 (the tank)
    Item: Sitrus berry
    Shadow Ball
    Silver Wind
    Light Screen
    Moonlight

Dustox was my first bug type. Although he lost a lot of his usefulness with the advent of armaldo, he still proved his worthiness by singlehandedly beating Sidney. He provided good support to the team and could take a few hits while I healed up my other members with items. Shadow ball was also quite useful in the battle against the ghost trainer of the elite four (forgot her name).

    Armaldo Lv.69 (sweeper)
    Item: King's rock
    Aerial Ace
    Earthquake
    Brick Break
    Rock Blast

Armaldo was my main fighter against the last two of the elite four and the champion. There's not much to say except ninjask plus armaldo equals pain for the opponent. His type coverage and pure power won me the game.

Your already up to the Frontier? You're good lol, I haven't even beat Norman yet xD

I don't think I'll use my uber bugs in the frontier though. Their mere presence would cause the CPUs to forfeit =P

I believe I will join in as well!

    Name: Dusty
    Version: Ruby
Pokemon: Dustox/Beautifly (Cuz who doesnt love them?), Shedinja, Heracross
