On a side note, there's a magical girl scheduled for the 2014 season. Don't know when, but it's called Wizard Barristars Benshami Cecill.

From what I've seen in the trailer, it seems to be more geared towards guys. The trailer's up on Youtube as of right now. (But I can't show it.)

Favorite Mahou Shojo anime: Cardcaptor Sakura would be my favourite straight up magical girl series although my favourite anime of all time, Revolutionary Girl Utena, shares a lot of elements with the genre.

Favorite Mahou Shojo anime? Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica; I also just started the first season of Pretty Cure and I am enjoying it so far.

If you were a magical girl, what would your motives and powers be?
My motive would be to protect and save as many people as I can against the evil forces against me! My power would surround sleeping and clouds somehow, still thinking about how that'd work LOL. Once I made a magical girl version of myself from a meme on tumblr and I had a companion that was a "cloud dog" that would give me a magical rapier made out of sky that only I could wield.

Yup! It was an incredible look into the past. I did some looking around--it's based off the second chapter in the manga. The manga, btw, has been translated... two chapters, I think.

Spoiler:

I liked how Luna was too afraid to fight at first--it was a nice outlook on how she's matured throughout the actual series rather than the extra! I do so hope that a next special is made--doubt it though.

Also, I'm pretty sure there is--it's been almost two weeks now.
