also i didn't discover this thread until after platinum was eliminated so i'll have a chance to bring platinum to a higher final standing
 
Alrighty everyone, in accordance with these two posts (here and here), it's time to close things up since the race is now over!

While I wouldn't have minded another round under normal circumstances, please remember that I had reasons (quoted below) for closing this thread in the first place, and I was only making an exception when I agreed to open it up for one round. =(

Theoretically, there could be an elimination race for almost every aspect of the Pokémon franchise, but if we had too many running at the same time, then they could divert a noticeable amount of activity from other threads, if that makes sense!

It's not that I'm closing this thread simply because the rules demand it or anything. :/ It's just that the Pokémon Trivia section has been growing over the past year, and throughout its growth, it has shown how much potential diversity it could have! There's a lot more to this section than just simple word/number games, and unfortunately, having too many similar games (especially elimination games and chain games) can actually shift the activity away from other games. =(

Once again, I'm really sorry about this! ;~;
