Make a wish and have it horribly corrupted

Granted. As brothers, we get on each other's case about slightly less absolute trivial crap.

I wish I could play the translated patch of Fire Emblem 6 and have it actually work on my phone's emulator, without error.

Granted. You can go there. In the future. When the sun has burned the Earth in around five billion years.

I wish people would stop giving respect to dark endings in media.

Granted. Every ending to everything ever is now unrealistically shmaltzy. But not in real life.

I wish that somebody else's non malevolent wish comes true.

Granted, but all the malicious wishes come true as well Ninja'd

^Granted but the next most important pokemon died instead

I wish life wasnt so complicated

Granted, it gets even more complicated.

I wish to be alive

granted, it is now a normal wish therefore, boring and useless.

i wish people would face facts rather then run away from them because they want to believe they were always right.

Granted, here's a blizzard for your trouble. (I want it to snow too.)

I wish for some of that blizzard I sent dbp's way would hit me. Just a few inches of snow, that's all I'm asking for.

Granted. You get everything. Everything good, everything bad. All of it.

I wished for nothing and got everything? That's not corruption, that's misconception!

Granted, a few inches of snow hit you. Like, a Cryogonal in the face?

I wish people would play this game correctly!

A blizzard for me is hardly a bad thing. :) It's not like I drive.

Granted, you get an overlong explanation.
If you desire nothing, at least in the sense that possessions lead to corruption, then wouldn't it make one corrupt to gain everything? It would actually become the worst thing for you. In that sense, it is corruption. If anything, your definition of "nothing" was unclear. :P

I wish we just had fun for fun's sake, you know?
