Make Training Fun?

Have something on on tv and just press "a"

This, with the difference that I use amusing videos on YouTube, repeats of Zero Punctuation and Unskippable, or a tv-show DVD.

I only train when I'm in the mood, lol. And then I can focus solely on training with music playing more as a bonus. But eh, I can't play unless I'm in the mood :/
This is pretty much what I do too. I can't sit and grind and grind and grind and grind and grind and grind unless I really really want to. I still haven't beat Red in SS for this exact reason. When I EV train I have to pay attention to make sure I don't screw up, which has happened before when I've tried auto-piloting and suddenly I've killed four Tentacruels on my Choice Luxray.
I always have the TV on in this room even if I'm not sitting down and intently watching the show that's on, mostly for the sake of background noise. I find it really hard to do much in absolute silence.

I usually just take my Pokemon to an area that has wild Pokemon around my Pokemon's level and train there. Or I abuse the VS Seeker. I'm usually watching TV or something...

EDIT: 1000th post! :cer_boogie:

Now i know the best way of training is re-doing the Elite four again, but after defeating them several times it does get quite repetitive. So instead i bloon around on the bike with the VS seeker looking for any trainers who want a rematch. I also train in the places whrre the legendaries are. For instance, Turnback cave - Giratina. While i'm doing this im on facebook or listening to music!

I like to train the casual way and where ever Pokemon that are stronger than mine reside in.
But I prefer to either listen to music that gets me pumped to train, watch movies, or chat on the phone.

Usually when I'm distracted during training it goes by so much faster, I'm entertained as a plus and my Pokemon get stronger.
Everybody wins! 8D

If I'm training a Pokémon from an egg then I'm usually EV training it. In this case I start off in the first couple of routes and get some EVs up. After that I "play through the game" with them like an above poster said - I'll go through the routes of the game in the order I originally went through them. Once my Pokémon are of a high enough level I use the Elite Four as training.
