Had this great idea for a new game, so here it is.

I'm sure everyone has thought of a good Pokemon to have distributed on special events.

Maybe a Pokemon witha unique move or ability. Maybe a Pokemon that could unlock a event in the game. Or maybe just a plain old Pokemon but with a exclusive ribbon.

Well, time to put your creativity to the test!

The rules are very simple. Post a made up event of your choice here, with the name of it's species, Level, Nature and whatever makes it special and the person who posts next will rate it out of 5, with an optional comment about it included.

    Example:

    Post #1:

    Lunar Dance Lunatone
    Lvl. 50
    Modest

    Post #2:

    3.5/5
The move would be way over used.

    Dragon Pulse Charizard
    Lv. 60
    Bold

    That's how it goes.

Please stay on topic and don't be super hateful about other's ideas.

    I'll start.

    Chlorophyll Budew
    Lv. 1
    Timid

  • 5/10 The budew would be okay with chlorophyll but on the other hand a lot of people wouldnt go for a Lv.1 budew (maybe if u up the lv. a bit^-^

    Anyways.

Lv.15 Riolu that knows aura sphere.
or maybe a Lv.10 Gible that knows earthquake?

  • The Lvl.15 Riolu would be okay, but it'd be better at Lvl.5. Kind of like the event Jirachi.

Roserade -> I think that lvl.100 event pokemon really only worked with Arceus. Aside from that, I think that anything over lvl.50 is going too far.

    MY TURN!

    Shiny Pachirisu
    Lvl.40
    Ability: Lightning Rod

    Moveset:
Volt Tackle (previously only Pikachu can learn this)
    Discharge
    Reflect
    Sweet Kiss

    Holding: Shuca Berry

NOTE: I actually made this, in a Cherish Ball, on Pokesav and traded it to myself.

It sounds cool, but I don't know how many people actually like Pachirisu that much. And it would take away from Pikachu. And speaking of Pikachu,

    Pikachu:Lv 25 - Static @ Light Ball
    ~Volt Tackle
    ~Surf
    ~Fly
    ~Grass Knot

It's essentailly bring all of Pikachu's special event moves into one ultra-Pikachu!

Unless if Pikachu can relearn Surf and Fly, it wouldn't be good.

    Gible Lv.5
Adamant Nature or Jolly Nature (depends on what you want)
    Moves:
    Dragon Dance
    Tackle
    Sand Attack

Unless he can relearn them as a Gyarados, I don't think a lot of people would get it. And besides, those attacks suck for competitive battling, Gyarados' Special Attack is nothing to write home about. You'd only get it if you like gimmicky Pokemon. 2.5/5

    240px-Primal_Dialga_artwork.png

[Primal] Dialga Lvl 47 (alternate coloration that isn't shiny, different base stats)
Base Special Attack and Attack +10
Base Defense and Special Defense - 18
Nature: Any (you can choose lol)
    Hold Item: Adamant Orb
    Moves:
    Draco Meteor
    Thunder
    Dragon Pulse
    Aura Sphere

Kinda off-topic question: Do event Pokemon have perfect (31 in all) IVs?

    Togepi - Level 5

    Nature: Timid
    Ability: Serene Grace
    Ball: Cherish Ball

Mmmmm...interesting moveset and nice choice of item. I think lvl. 5 is a perfect level for a Togepi event as well. 9/10

    Brock's Steelix

    Brock%27s_Steelix.png

    Level: 45
    Nature: Sassy
    Ability: Sturdy
Ball: Pokeball (This is purely based on his Onix/Steelix in anime)
    Held Item: Leftovers

    Iron Tail
    Dragon Breath
    Sandstorm
    Slam

Boring moveset but as said earlier, this is not supposed to be goofy in any way, but just based on the anime.

  • 5/5!! My shiny Pichu has a useless moveset too, but I still love it!

Hm... my turn? *5 minutes of silence* ARGH! I'm drawing a blank tonight. Maybe if I watched the shows or the movies I would have some ideas. For now, we'll have to reach back to when I DID watch the show... 12 years ago.

    Squirtle-Squad Squirtle!

    Squirtle_squad.jpg

Basically, it would be an alternate Squirtle sprite, much like the Spiky-Eared Pikachu. It would have the pointy sunglasses of the Squirtle-squad leader who joined Ash's team.

    Lvl.5
    Nature: Impish
    Held Item: BlackGlasses
    Moves:
    --Skull Bash
    --Hydro Pump
    --Tail Whip

  • 4/5! I like the idea of Gym Leaders' pokemon, but having them at lvl.70 is too much. I'd say a good rule of thumb is that most event pokemon should be 30 and below, but if there is a good reason, up to 50 is okay. 50+ should be used in the rarest of circumstances, as in, almost never.

Okay, I have one. It is basically a Growlithe with an egg move and "Sacred Fire"-- Ho-Oh's signature move.

    Sacred Fire Growlithe
    Lvl:5
    Nature: Rash
    OT: <user>
    Held Item: Fire Stone
    Moves:
    --Bite
    --Roar
    --Sacred Fire
    --Morning Sun

8.5/10 Very very strong and would probably be used in tourneys all the time, but what the heck it would be cool!

    Uhhh.......I got 3 ideas!

    OT: Yours
    Level: 5
    Nature: Calm
    Hold Item: Silk Scarf

  • Nice call on the movesets for the Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle! The only thing I would say is replace either Draco Meteor or Explosion with Hyper Beam. It is the Special counterpart of Giga Impact. I'll still give you an 8.5/10 though, because I like the idea of distributing the original starters with special moves.

    Hmmm...

    Christmas Delibird

    Lvl.50
    OT: Santa
Had a fateful encounter at the North Pole
    Nature: Jolly
    Moveset
    --Present
    --Return
    --Water Spout
    --Eruption
