Hello everybody. I'm wondering is there a way to make a battle start with a particular weather (e.g. sun) in Firered? I was reading this thread about linking it to overworld weather but I have no idea what they are talking about. pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=351387

To link an overworld weather with a trainer battle is to set the weather before the trainer battle in a script. Because if in an overworld the weather is "rain", it will mean that the battle will have "It is raining" dialogue and and the raining animation.

When I tested that it only worked with rain, the other overworld weathers didn't affect the in battle weather.

When I say weather in battle I mean rain like rain dance, sunny day, sandstorm and hail. All of those exist in battle fire red, they just have to be activated by a pokemon's move. I want to be able to have them start at the beginning of a battle.

If the overworld weather is rain, then when you start a battle you get a message saying 'it is raining' and you get the rain effects in battle.
I'm looking for a way to make that happen with sun, sandstorm and hail.
