Manga artist in training, how am I doing?

Here's my first attempt at a manga-esque bishounen male... not too sure about the hair but I like it as a first attempt at manga style art...

What do you think? Any areas you can see I need to improve on? Comments and critique appreciated :-)

I'm just experimenting at the moment, seeing what I'm good at or not. But I like this guy (he's named Wolven). I'm really bad at doing well female anime characters... maybe I can improve how I do males...

It's an idea...

Im bad at drawing any human character! Darn! I cant make the head format and the eyes! The body is okay but the face part... Blargh!

Yeah, you're pretty much the big guy around the place, from what I've seen. Well respected and all that...

Ok, gonna work on my next piece, I can do fantastic swords but I have a hard time making it seem natural for one to be held... getting ideas at the moment

I plan to make it look right... I think I'll just do one sword for now (I'd like to draw someone holding two swords, but that's a little ambitious of me right now).

Aww thankee... hhm, wasn't thinking of a god, but you know, looking at him, maybe he is... :-)

Really... strange, I've never played Crystal before, he started off as an image that came into my head one day that I had to get on paper...

And besides, I don't blame Eusine... have you seen how sweet Suicune looks on Pokemon Colosseum? :-)

And just look at you now, hehe....

Hmm, that is really nice! Cool! If you don't mind me adding a little comment though, his hair seems kind of square-shaped. That doesn't stop it from being a well-drawn picture though!

Hmm, that is really nice! Cool! If you don't mind me adding a little comment though, his hair seems kind of square-shaped. That doesn't stop it from being a well-drawn picture though!

Yeah, I was more worried about the various strands of hair all over the place, but he does have something of a square hairstyle... like I said, it's my first attempt, and something I can improve on for my next piece.. might look into a spiky hair style instead...

Yeah, I tend to notice the small things.. like the little Male below your name on the left ;-)

Very nicely done, Toothache! I really like the characteristics of the face. The expression is very nice! I have one suggestion though!

When drawing the body, it's a good idea to check out a mirror. On the neck of the human body, you'll notice it doesn't go straight down. It kind of bells out at the bottom and fades into the collar bone. When you draw that in, it'll make him appear more muscley too!

Yeah, he's meant to be somewhat muscly... he was designed from an RP wrestler that I no longer play (if anyone knows what e-fedding is, you'll know what I mean). Thanks, I'll bear that in mind :-)
