Nope, once you add at least 1 english word, you turn it into Tex-Mex. To be spanish, it has to be pure spanish.

I know basic spanish but nothing major. I like the language, I would love to visit Madrid or Barcelona to test out my spaking skills.

Just go whenever you have an opportunity too...like on a school trip, if your speaking skills are only ok, you will learn quick and come back knowing the language better...

Besides I'd go there and I know no spanish...well besides one through ten...Europe is awesome.
