PC glows in the dark.
 
What? i have no idea what you're talking about. it just doesn't make sense. how does it glow in the dark?

Regarding the subject of video game consoles, I say that people should just abandon them for their PCs. Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl came out recently. You can't play them on your much-vaunted Wii, I'll tell you that much.

Okay, have you played the first one and the second one (Aftermath, I believe ;D). IMO they were fun, I never beat them cuz' I was young back then and sucked at that kind of stuff. xD I played Aftermath recently, but I never finished it as the CD ROM in my old comp screwed up. =X Oh also, I've played C&C Generals/Zero Hour. Which is also fun. I play as the infantary general and just KILL the other team, although I can never seem to beat the Hard enemies on Skirmishes (Which is usually what I only play. xD).
 
PC didn't look like that then, No-one at all could be seen, if I remember correctly.
And you were asleep? I swear you were online then.
 
I thought it was like that because the staff members different group colours could be seen over the black layout. The members' black username couldn't be seen because the background was black, obviously.

And nope. I got online about two hours later, if I remember correctly.
 
But not all of them shown are staff.

I was online for all the time I think, quite funny to see everyone spamming out community questions and feedback. I was determined to post in all the threads no matter what colour the theme was.
 
True, but the others shown are community supporters, which do have a different username colour compared to the thousands of normal members. Any other colour other than black would have shown up on that theme.
 
Yeah, but normal members should be able to select their usernames colour, then everyone would be easily identifyable.
 
No offense, but I don't think it's a good idea.

To do it normally would probably require tons and tons of usergroups of some sort, whether it be by adding group memberships or secondary usergroups. You could add a shop hack, but PC would probably die if we added one. You might be able to find or make a hack to change it with the userCP, I'm not sure about that, but I still find don't think it's a good idea. Our system works fine as it is.

Members can be identified by other things like theme, posting style... or even their own name. People can read. The only time you couldn't identify them is if we had a blackout theme, but that isn't happening again.
 
But other people could still tell who the mods and such were by the rank under the usertitle. Surely choosing your own colours couldn't be totally terrible.
 
It may, it may not, it all depends on how it's done. However, I don't see the staff allowing members to have their own username color even if there were a simple solution to it. I think our system is fine as it is, and I'm sure a few more, if not almost all of them, would agree with me.

Besides, having your own username color isn't everything. I'm content on the other forums where I don't have a choice of username color. If it's a big deal to you, then go to a place where there are options for that. @@;

Matt, the member color is link color, not black. XD
 
Because, to me, black doesn't match everyones themes, ugh, nevermind then.
Most themes I use the usernames are in blue.
And nah, I wouldn't leave PC just over a usernames colour, you can't get rid of me that easily. XD

Yeah. i don't really like the colours either but they work and i'm not going to make a big deal out of it. it could have some more ... spice to it.

Oh, the mods used to have a darker green colour, I even took a screenie back then to compare. That looked funny.
 
Yeah, why should we have to worry about colour, like Nayana said?

If your name is thin, you're inferior, if it's thick, then you're superior! End of story.

Oh yeah, Lunux, if you could add a little spice to it, what would it be? Would it be a rainbow, or Red and blue, or what? I think the avatars are there for a reason.
