Yups, I'm surprised she was able to survive through that. With almost everyone in the world being sad, it would have been hard on her.

I wish he was still alive though. I didn't show much sadness on the day though ;;
*Remembers a MSN convo with someone..uggh*

I watched the special they had on TV when he died..well the movie he was in. I should buy that DVD thingie Bindi had out.

Yup..I hope she looks after the zoo well. When I get older I hope to travel over to that side of Australia. Theres an ad out on TV lately though, about animal plushies I think. To fundraise for it.

..Uh yeah. XD

I don't like much fundraisers unless they are to help the community of Pokemon (PC) Of which I won't donate because..Um..I can't. But yeah, I don't like fundraisers.

Plushies sure are cutie yups.

What's wrong with fund raisers? They do a lot of good, actually. =\

A politcial discussion between 13-15 year olds?

o.ô

Does that ever work out well, especially when it seems like it's just pointless rambling?

And yeah, fundraisers are cool. I guess it always depends on what's involved, but nonetheless, it's nice to help out a cause.

I remember primary school having many a fundraiser - pyjama day, Jeans for Genes day and so on. Pyjama day was definitely awesome though, since we got a free breakfast in the morning.

And for some reason I distinctly remember doing the chicken dance XD;;

And then we have them days were we could were whatever clothes we wanted (ie not uniform). If I think about it now though, one or two bucks to were csual clothes seems a bit expensive XD;

Now we just seem to have a lot of charity drives at my school though, collecting money and items for various agencies like St Vincent de Paul and so on. But as my grade has grown up, we tend to donate less and less and less. Hopefully we ain't all apathetic, just lazy.

[/endlongrambleaboutnothing]

I think one school near me abolished fundraisers when students began selling their own food for a petty profit and claiming it was for a school event. The final excuse was that it violated federal law. Ahem, what about those vending machines they have in one corridor?!

As for Bindi, I don't think there's anything better to say than that she got it from her father. True, the fame can and will be a stresser, but given the type of family she was raised in and the effect her father had — and the fact that she's not an actress or pop figure — I don't believe she'll go down the road of, say, Dana Plato. It could happen, but it's not likely.

It'll be interesting to see how Bindi's career takes off after Jungle Girl airs. I'm sure the show will succeed with flying colors, considering all the attention around the Irwin family right now. I just hope they give Bindi and Terri enough time to recover from the loss of their father/husband before releasing the show. =\

Um, who's that person?

I don't mind fundraising myself..
It's just that the only knocks on the door are for fundraising, and it gets me all excited for no reason.

She played the girl in Different Strokes, an American sitcom run in the late 1970s. She ended up binge-drinking and dying of a meth overdose, from what I gathered.

My mother being from that time period was obsessed with that show...

She'd actually sit and watch it, while crying, saying "it's so true..."

but yeah, that's a horrible way to die.

I hope none of us die soon. cx
People dieing about this age..so sad with so much future for us all. 3=
I only want to die to discover why we lived..and then, I think I may catch the next bus back to earth x3

LOL Do you mean, die, then come back to haunt the living? I'd love to get even with people that way! :P Well, when you're dead, it's sad for you, but it's the one remaining that will be crying, not you (since you're dead). Well, some people like talking about death, and thinking about it even, but once it happens it's not such a good feeling. I remember two years ago a student at my school died of illness, and it seemed sad, though I didn't know that person. Also, someone on a forum I was active on once just died of cancer. It's harsh, but your everyday persson can just die, just like that. It's usually the most unexpected people who die...*sigh*... :(

The chances for use dying at this age is low isnt it? Unless you're in like some random freakish disaster area...
Oh~ the potential will be so missed~

Uh..most probably~x3

Aww, no-body at our school had ever died. I don't really think of much students dieing because they just aren't ready to die. xc

Yuppies, But it really is unlikely. It's too bad not many people live life to the fullest.

A freshman at my high school died recently. ;; It was sad, even though I didn't know her directly. x_x;;
What of? Please say there isn't a shooting rash....

I'm pretty sure we will all have to learn how to live together once the earth reforms pangea on the other side within a few million years. Then we won't have N-bombs being dropped in countries with children in the area because they will problably be your next door neighbor. If we still don't have world peace by then, then that will just be plain old sad. Because with the Japanese peoples brains, and the Americans "I won't stop trying till i die" way of life we could finally overcome those pesky aliens i'm always hearing about.

I'm going to de-compose your post. XD

But that wont really bring us together, most likely fight more because of the seas being moved around will move the land, and everyone could end up fighting over land.

That part didn't make any sense to me.

Aliens? Of which kind?
