[PokeCommunity.com] Martha's Mad Musings: Why Ash Doesn't Age

Following on from what was discussed in the general Conspiracy Theories category, I'd like to write an article from Martha's perspective on why Ash doesn't age.

As the title implies, Martha's conspiracy theories would be quite outlandish and ranty, and more humorous.

There are a lot of theories as to why Ash doesn't age but I'd want to write about one of the more relatively uncommon ones - that when he became frozen during Mew and Mewtwo's battle in the first movie, [insert science mumbo jumbo here] caused him to stop ageing. The chemicals in his body changed, he gained parts of Mew and Mewtwo's DNA. One of Mew's Dex entries states that:

A Mew is said to possess the genes of all Pokémon. It is capable of making itself invisible at will, so it entirely avoids notice even if it approaches people.

so Ash is able to make his Ageing Genome (or something) invisible, and we all know (well Martha knows) that if something is invisible it doesn't exist! He can slow down time relative to him so he doesn't age, etc etc etc etc.

Will probably end with an ironic one-liner referencing other theories as complete bs/ridiculous/implausible etc.

Lmk what you think and then I'll start writing it if all is g! The aim would be for this to be the first of a few 'Martha's Mad Musings' articles.

    Pfffft.

Love it, along with the DNA merging thing there. [Wait, does that mean Mewtwo can become invisible!? Good god.]

I actually don't know any of the theories but I think it'd be nice if you included some more theories as well. You could write about your top 3 theories and have the Mew DNA one last and talk about it in more detail. Or maybe you could mention some of the more common ones as being implausible like you said above.

But if you just want to write about that one theory, that's fine as well!

I feel that it may be better to keep to one as the focus. Mentioning some in passing could well work in-character and makes sense, but only briefly imo; any more details would be better saved to further articles or a separate (more serious) article. ["Some claim that's he's in a coma since the beginning. That's silly; that means we're part of his consciousness, and I'd know if I was fictional!"] Besides, if Martha truly believes her claim, she wouldn't want to give the time of day to these other clearly false ideas, imo. ;p

Thanks for the feedback! I think I'll mention them in passing but only to dismiss them for being too implausible (ironically).

For reference though the other theories I've heard about are that
    - Ash is in a coma after like the first episode lol and being shocked by Pikachu
    - when Ash saw Ho-oh he was granted his wish/ideal life (something like this is mentioned in one of Ho-oh's dex entries), being that his Pokemon quest will never end

From what I've seen the Mew/Mewtwo one is comparatively less common, and the DNA component is something that I just made up lol which makes it a bit more original imo.

What is this Game Theory nonsense? Can't we just accept that the reason why Ash doesn't age is because his adventure takes place over a span of one year, so time is slowed down within every episode? The technique was done in the Walking Dead series, as all seasons took place at a span of two days.
