"Mastering Current Events!" Review Thread

Ash you idiot, that's another Pokemon down the drain. I hope you are proud of yourself.

As for Team Rocket... well, they have tried so many times they can't seem to even try anymore. They're gonna forget why they are chasing Ash someday, and that's gonna be an embarrassment.

9/10 for the awesome old guy, though.
 
I don't know what to call this episode anymore; one of the saddest or simply one of the worst.

Whatever, my favorite Pokemon ever to grace the anime is gone, and honestly, I'm too busy looking at his team now to care if he even gets it back (but I still really hope he does, even if it's just for the Sinnoh League.)

DonRoyale, you're almost as annoyed about Gliscor as I was about Jun not running into Shinji.

Dull episode. I actually forgot Ash still had Gliscor in the dub, he should've been used more. Really, why couldn't Ash have trained Gliscor himself? He doesn't need other people to do it for him anymore. Yes, I know its because of spoiler, but...oh well. Liked the song the dub put in, though.

I've watched 2 Pokemon episodes today, I probably shouldn't do that again.
 
And yet, we witness another Pokemon going to reach further dreams. Ash's Gliscor to McCann, Dawn's Ambipom to Mr. O, what next?

Episode was pretty interesting. Gliscor now knows how to read the wind (I thought he would know that since it glides all the time!) Dawn had a good idea of tossing tinfoil confetti into the air so that Gliscor can read the wind.

I'm still wondering how James and Meowth got away from Jessibelle in the last episode :P

I want that Scizor, it's beast! But why did Ash lose his Gliscor the moment it knows Giga Impact? That's what got me! But I guess it wouldn't have the advantage in the Sunnyshore City Gym.

What are you talking about? The old man was awesome as hell. It's not everyday you see an old geezer like that. I was half expecting him to harass Dawn. XD
 
I was actually not expecting an old man after seeing Scizor...
Not such a bad episode, but it's always sad to see someone goes ("see you soon", we heard that already,
eventhough it reminded me of the upcoming league), and it was funny when Team Rocket were the most touchy.
 
I hope he gets it back.

Scizor is cool, I was glad it won.

Personally, I want him to:

Terrible terrible episode.

Gliscor was barely ever used to begin with, and then when he finally gets a little stronger, they give him away.
 
My brother was so happy at the end of the episode since Gliscor left. I also like the insert music they decided to use in the dub.
 
-The song at the end made me think of Misty's goodbye song....am I the only one?
-My friend and I have been arguing about what Ash&co. wear to bed. Now, we know. Brock's tank top looks funny on him. Out of place. And Ash walking around in his underwear was pretty funny as well.
-ASH, YOU IDIOT,YOU GAVE UP ANOTHER STRONG POKEMON! *slaps ash in the face* WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???
-Out of all the people to own that Scizor, this weird old guy was picked?
-I was almost sure when I saw that Chimecho that this was gonna be another team rocket "Im gonna steal *insert random charecter's name*'s *insert pokemon* because it reminds me of my past" episode,like the earlier one, with the Chingling. Then, when I thought about it, I figured it would be too good to be true if we got two James-based episodes in a row.
-I give this episode a 7/10. Pretty good, for a filler.
 
Gliscor leaving wasn't a big deal to me, I was more upset when Gligar evolved.
