I am currently shiny hunting a charmander thru the masuda method without the shiny charm (1/683) and i am at like 1100 eggs so far and have like another 140 left is it normal to go this many eggs woth no shiny? Im starting to wonder if my ditto may be hacked or something.

Tbh I consider any shiny I breed in under 1200 eggs WITH the shiny charm AND Masuda a fast shiny =p
My worst/longest with both Masuda and the charm has been 2100 eggs for a shiny, so.... considering you're doing it without the shiny charm, I'd say nothing's wrong =p

Odds of getting at least one shiny in 1100 eggs at your odds:
(1 - ((682/683)^1100)) * 100
= 80.05%

Missed one Stone Edge, essentially.

50% odds of at least one shiny at:
ln(1 - .5) / ln(682/683)
= 473.07 eggs

75% odds at:
ln(1 - .75) / ln(682/683)
= 946.15 eggs

90% odds at:
ln(1 - .9) / ln(682/683)
= 1571.51 eggs

95% odds at:
ln(1 - .95) / ln(682/683)
= 2044.59 eggs
