Mature version of Pokemon

I'd love to see them make an anime based on the Pokemon Adventure (Pokemon Special). It has a really nice story, its much closer to the games, and has more mature themes closer to the Teen range then the Kid range.

Ho, hum. That would be a dream come true, as long as the violence stays in controll. Pokemon+violence= hmmm... That just would not work.

Here's the thing. I don't think it should be hardcore.

You can have a more serious plot and not be overly violent. It's been done successfully before. And I think Pokemon would have an edge because it's popular already, and alot of kids would like it by default.

If they can include themes for a more mature audience and still retain the innocence and enjoyment for all ages aspects then they should...but something like that would be hard, very hard. I just want an easy to watch cartoon that doesn't make me think :D

The only bad points on the show are character development, the animation, and the the plot being repetitive. Making it "mature" fixes nothing here. So I ask; what are you talking about Sweet Speed?

Yeah because homosexuality is exactly what you want in a show that tries to teach good morals /sarcasm/ >_>. How sick-minded can you get, we already have enough gays in american television, they're taking over, and it makes me sick to my stomach to watch them. I pray to god each night nothing like that would happen to a great show like pokemon.

What does being gay have anything to do with morals? What is wrong with you? I wonder why people have these prejudices, I don't understand

I don't think they should insert homosexuality into the show due to the fact that it would bump it up to an R rating or something, as well as it being a touchy political issue.

They definitely need blood though. Not tons of it, just some blood. If a Pokemon is slashed across the chest with Dragon Claw, I'd expect to see blood, not just some scratches and badly drawn bruises.

Some non-idiotic love (Brock doesn't count) would help as well.

Not to mention the characters actually maturing.

But really, none of this would be an issue if the show would get a half-decent plot going.

Sorry, we're saying that homosexuality lowers the level of quality in a TV show. That's what I like to call bigotry and ignorance. Those are things we DO NOT condone on the PokeCommunity. In fact, it's OFFENSIVE to members who may be gay. So I would prefer if certain ignorant individuals would not post such thoughts on the forums. Thank you.

Plot plot plot....would need an overhaul and like everyone else said, more mature characters. Pika's cuteness needs to be addressed I guess,maybe have him go rogue and get all evil? haha oh well
