If I was the only judge, Allstories would be 2nd and Lil Chikarita would be 3rd. But I wasn't.

Don't be mad that someone else beat you, I'm not saying 2nd entrant's is better, your entry is far beyond the skill of the 2nd place winners, but the fact you are calling people twits for having your entry 3rd is pretty selfish, immature, and ignorant. Once again, you should have been second, but, be glad with what you got. If I offened you, oh well, just what I have to say.

I didn't think that the judges I chose would rate the entries in that way. They didn't seem like they would, though some of their scores weighed heavily on some of the entries.

And my signature is within the rules. It's the max size a signature can be.

Ok, enough and calm yourselves. Let this not erupt into more of an arguement, let alone even refer to anything else other than the results of the contest. Whatever's been decided is final, if you feel there are a few things needed to be discussed then feel free to bring it up, but keep the subject from swaying towards a possible flame war. It shall not be had.

A lot of your entry, most notably the balloons and the nose, seem to have been made with the circle tools or line tools, as well as the curviness of many parts of it, including the hands, the front of the body and the mouth. The head seems to have no shading. For some reason, only the helmet has dithering. The anti-aliasing is done okay, but isn't incredibly noticeable. The shading on the nose is hard to see, and there's only a very small amount of shading on the balloons, aside from the bright parts. The only part of the hair with noticeable shading is the hole in the helmet.

Matter of fact, the only tool I used for my entire entry was the circle tool, and it was used once, for the balloons. Of course, that was out of pure laziness, which seems to be a major weakness for me in my pixel art ventures. Anyway, I'm not sure whether I should feel flattered by the fact that the curviness of the rest of my entry was so well done that you assumed it was done with the curve tool, or annoyed by your lack of knowledge on how to tell the difference. I do agree with you on one thing though, my entry had too many flaws in the way of shading etc and it by no means should have been placed any higher than sixth.

Btw, how on earth did Lil Chikarita's entry get 2nd?! Sure, it's cute, it's colorful, and it's from a well known NES game that many people enjoyed, but did it truely diserve 2nd? I think not. Meh, congrats to the winners and I hope you enjoyed entering... I know I enjoyed doing my little entry. Onward to the June Contest!

Haha, the scoring descriptions are ridiculous. He keeps nonsensically pushing his newfound anti-aliasing agenda like suddenly everyone MUST use it, and he talks about how good the anti-aliasing is on pieces WHERE THERE IS NONE. All of the criticisms are retardedly arbitrary nit-picks that have nothing to do with anything. I get marked down because you for some reason don't like dithering. This is the worst contest ever. Is it just me, or did people seem to grasp Pixel Art better when this was a spriting forum? HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? WTF

Yay! I got Last and guess what...I don't really Care. Its a bit of Fun, and seriously, if you can't take what the judges give (EVEN IF YOU MAY THINK OR WELL KNOW ITS THE WRONG JUDGEMENT) Then Don't enter. Im Happy that I was a part of the Contest, and its obvious I need to improve...

Oh Well...New Contest now...and its looking good. I've Entered, but im not expecting to win...

I am an idiot. I did the averaging wrong. I got the average of me and Houndoom1's scores, then got The Black Hedgehog's scores and averaged them with me and Houndoom1's averages. I just realized that it doesn't work that way. Because of this, all the scores are messed up.

They have been corrected.

My intention was not to get the results changed. What's done is done. I was merely stating how I felt, whether you feel it was mature or not. And what I said about the cricle tool usage in yours and my entries, I feel was 100% truth. I'm sorry you felt I was picking on you in a hateful manner or w/e, but I wasn't.
