That, and the movie broke the 'Thousand Year Rule'... Jirachi was no 'Ancient Evil'! Isn't it the 'Ancient Evil' that awakens every thousand years? Jirachi is about as un-evil as they come.

In fact the only thing they did right is that it was 999.9875 years since his previous awakening.

But anyway... How does one make a wish like that come true themselves???...


I guess we'll find out how, if the rumors are true...

When May was wishing, it wasn't a very happy dappy, but calm. She must have wished for something deep. I bet it'll show up in another movie/episode sometime!

Hmmmmmmmm...I think it had something to do with Max. I think that once she made the wish, she looked over at Max, so that's just my guess. XD I'm guessing she may have wished for Max to always be safe on their travels...or even for him to get his own Pokemon or something like that. I'm horrible at guessing games. XD

Are you sure that May only looked over at Max? From what I can recall, she looked in the general area where Ash and Max were. Who knows what she could have wished for. (my opinion, heavily opinionated, is in the first page)

Maybe she wanted something that she wound up getting in the course of the movie and that's why she didn't finish folding the star.

But later in the movie she realizes it but then decided it wasn't that important (implying either she could get it on her own or already had). Based on that, I'm guessing whatever it wasn't purely material.
