Me First

What exactly does this move do, according from the way im reading it, you basically go first and add power to the foes move, it doesnt sound that bad to me. Is this move usable?

Well i always thought that you go first for that turn then it attracts all attacks to it.

According to Serebii if you use it you attack first with the foes attack at 1.5 power

You're thinking of the double battle move, "follow me" I believe.

If you use Me first and you are faster than the opponent, it will take the opponent's next attack and uses it against it at double power. I'll show an example instead.

Lucario is faster than Rhyperior, so it goes first.
Rhyperior is preparing an Earthquake attack, but goes second because of low speed
Lucario used Me First
Lucario used Earthquake at 150 base power.
If Rhyperior survives, it uses Earthquake at normal 100 base power.

It fails if you are too slow and move second, and if the opponent is not preparing an attack.

Wrong. Lucario is weak against Ground. Rhyperior will use Earthquake at 200 base power. So Me First gets a squawking Base Power of 300! Stronger than Explosion.
