    C'est si bon vs. IcePyro

Cest si bon sent out Sceptile.
    IcePyro sent out Aerodactyl.
    Aerodactyl used Taunt.
    Sceptile fell for the taunt!
    Sceptile used Substitute.
Sceptile can't use Substitute after the taunt!
I wanted to set up a SubSeed. Unfortunately, I couldn't. Ah well; there's not much Sceptile or Aerodactyl can do to eachother.
    ---
Cest si bon switched in Slowking.
    Aerodactyl used Stealth Rock.
Ick, Stealth Rock. At least he didn't Stone Edge me.
    ---
    Aerodactyl used Stone Edge.
Slowking lost 48% of its health.
    Slowking used Surf.
Aerodactyl lost 104% of its health.
Aerodactyl hung on using its Focus Sash!
Lucky him, with his Focus Sash. I should've used Grass Knot the first turn. I don't know why I didn't predict a Taunt.
    ---
    Aerodactyl used Stone Edge.
Slowking lost 47% of its health.
    Slowking used Surf.
Aerodactyl lost 92% of its health.
    IcePyro's Aerodactyl fainted.
    6-5
Well, Slowking almost fainted, but I got rid of that nasty Aerodactyl.
    ---
    IcePyro switched in Scizor.
    Scizor used Bullet Punch.
Slowking lost 20% of its health.
    Cest si bon's Slowking fainted.
    5-5
It's all tied up with UUvOU, so I'm a bit unsure of the outcome at this point.
    ---
Cest si bon switched in Sceptile.
    IcePyro switched in Suicune.
    Sceptile used Hidden Power.
Suicune lost 6% of its health.
    Amazing prediction on IcePyro's part.
    ---
    Sceptile used Substitute.
Sceptile lost 25% of its health.
    Sceptile made a substitute!
    Suicune used Ice Beam.
The substitute took damage for Sceptile!
    Sceptile's substitute faded!
This was a bit dumb of me; I knew Suicune would use Ice Beam but I insisted on subbing anyway.
    ---
    Sceptile used Grass Knot.
Suicune lost 61% of its health.
    Suicune used Ice Beam.
Sceptile lost 49% of its health.
Is Suicune pretty heavy? It sure took a nice chunk of damage here.
    ---
    IcePyro switched in Scizor.
    Sceptile used Substitute.
Sceptile lost 25% of its health.
    Sceptile made a substitute!
I detected a switch out. (I don't know why...) I used sub so that even if it was something that was resistant to one of my moves it wouldn't matter.
    ---
    Scizor used Bullet Punch.
The substitute took damage for Sceptile!
    Sceptile's substitute faded!
    Sceptile used Hidden Power.
Scizor lost 106% of its health.
    IcePyro's Scizor fainted.
    5-4
Bye Scizor! Hope you like HP Fire! Anyway, I had a feeling it would OHKO, but I was high on HP even if my sub faded.
    ---
    IcePyro switched in Tyranitar.
Tyranitar's Sand Stream whipped up a sandstorm!
    Sceptile used Grass Knot.
Tyranitar lost 89% of its health.
    Tyranitar used Substitute.
    But it failed!
Sandstorm from here on out. I wish Grass Knot had done more damage.
    ---
    Sceptile used Leech Seed.
    Sceptile's attack missed!
    Tyranitar used Rock Slide.
Sceptile lost 60% of its health.
    Cest si bon's Sceptile fainted.
    4-4
I have NO idea what I was thinking here.
    ---
Cest si bon switched in Espeon.
    Espeon used Hidden Power.
Tyranitar lost 75% of its health.
    IcePyro's Tyranitar fainted.
    4-3
It seems a bit reckless switching Espeon into a Tyranitar. Either way, Espeon always outspeeds Tar and had HP Fighting to boot.
    ---
    IcePyro switched in Shaymin.
    Espeon used Calm Mind.
    Shaymin used Seed Flare.
Espeon lost 47% of its health.
No clear advantage on either side. I figure I should +SpA/SpD just in case Espeon survives the wrath of Shaymin.
    ---
    Espeon used Psychic.
Shaymin lost 76% of its health.
    Shaymin used Seed Flare.
Espeon lost 51% of its health.
    Cest si bon's Espeon fainted.
    IcePyro's Shaymin fainted.
    3-2
This was a close match-up. In the end it was Life Orb that took Shaymin down.
    ---
Cest si bon switched in Swellow.
    IcePyro switched in Suicune.
    Swellow used Facade.
Suicune lost 24% of its health.
    Suicune used Ice Beam.
Swellow lost 89% of its health.
    Cest si bon's Swellow fainted.
    2-2
Do you see how quickly Hoenn birds fall? I'm nervous at this point; it could go in either direction.
    ---
Cest si bon switched in Honchkrow.
    Honchkrow used Sucker Punch.
Suicune lost 44% of its health.
    IcePyro's Suicune fainted.
    2-1
    Finally!
    ---
    IcePyro switched in Celebi.
    Celebi used Leech Seed.
    Honchkrow was seeded!
    Honchkrow used Drill Peck.
Celebi lost 128% of its health.
    IcePyro's Celebi fainted.
    Cest si bon wins!
    2-0
I predicted an attack, so I should've Sucker Punched. However, I'm glad I didn't. (I really did NOT expect Leech Seed.) Regirock would easily have been KO'd by Celebi so this was the deciding round.

As D_A said, out of the 30 something or so legendaries only a few of them are really broken in OU (and in this case UU)...
Entei, Articuno, Moltres, & the Regis are not only underwhelming in UU but also now have a niche there. (Arti always did, though) They are excellent UU contenders but are by no means broken. (So your second statement is a bit void, Garchomp is more broken in OU than all UU legendaries in their own tier)

Shaymin is an example of a (quasi) Legendary that's broken as hell in UU. Also, Articuno is in NU...something to do with losing 50% HP to SR.

On the actual battle, you did great, but your opponent wasn't very bright <_<

The current UU and NU tiers are based on usage. They haven't had time to ban broken Pokemon yet, but there really aren't a lot of those in UU. (However, I expect a massive change in NU in the near future). It has nothing to do with losing 50% HP to SR.

Of course they are, but what I was getting at is who wants to use a dramatically SR weak pokemon as their special sponge (Because that's what he's best at).

Um, a lot of people? SR use is still atrocious and overbearing but its use is dwindling in UU. Plus it doesn't matter. Arti still does her job well, especially with a team's spin support.
I've seen this team before, only beaten it once ;_; Was a great log; Swellow fell pretty fast o.O
Aha, and that was a very good battle. I must admit your team has improved exponentially. I need to make a new team myself though as this one is losing zest. Oh, and thanks.

Articuno fails to Registeel, Chansey, and Clefable all as special sponges in UU. In NU I could see a niche, though, and that's where Articuno (appropriately) is. I think it's appropriate there, but there are some pokemon (Like Shaymin and Yanmega for example) that are broken in UU, which was my actual argument.
