[General] Meandering for a Modest Magby

So, uh, hello! I made this account just to ask this request. For someone with Shining Pearl, I'd like to trade for either a Male Modest Magby, or a Female Magby/Magmar (WITH a Magmarizer) so that I can breed one myself. I really want to use a Magmortar on my BD team, but it's version-exclusive. I have an Electabuzz with an Electrizer I can offer in return, and I also have a Modest Abra with Synchronize I bred that I can loan if it's too tedious.
That said, I'm also looking for other version-exclusives, like Shieldon, Glameow, Misdreavus, etc. (Don't have Dialga yet, so, sorry about that.)
I'm also okay with helping anyone with trade evolutions who need a partner to trade them back to you! (And you can do likewise.)

That's doable, but, with all due respect, it's hardly an equal trade. Shield Fossils are as common as Skull Fossils in the Grand Underground, and be obtained ad infinitum. I'm not even asking for a specific level on the Shining Pearl exclusives. On the flip-side, at where I am, just obtained my fourth badge, training a freshly-caught Barboach to Level 31 with specific moves isn't as quick as reviving a fossil. For the Shieldon, I can trade a freshly-revived Cranidos. But for a specific Barboach, I'd say the Magby I requested is a fair trade. Again, if at your point of the story, you don't have an Abra with Synchronize and a Modest nature, I can loan you one. Magby can be found in the Grand Underground in Volcanic Caves and Sandsear Caves; both easily-accessible from early-game. If you agree to that, I'll agree to preparing that Barboach for you; maybe even use Synchronize to give it a beneficial nature. Whaddya say?

I didn't know you were this early in the game, so I didn't know the level 31 training would be as annoying for you as it is for me (three badges currently).

I can get you a Magby, but if you need the Magmarizer, on the contrary, it may be very time consuming to get one, I don't even have a Compound Eyes Pokémon to improve the luck of wild Magby possessing it.

So, here are my propositions. Either we exchange Shieldon for Barboach with his moveset from Oreburgh Gate (don't mind the training) or Modest Male Magby for level 31 Barboach with his moveset from Oreburgh Gate but I can't make any promise about Magmarizer (I'll try find one anyway, but if it takes me more than an hour, the trade wouldn't be equal anymore on the other way). In the later case, the lend of a Modest Synchro Abra woud be appreciated.

I've found saving and soft-resetting before making contact with an Underground Pokemon DOES reroll stats and items. So, although Compound eyes is rare, it should be simple enough after a few soft-resets, and using Thief on a Magby. That said, a regular Female Magby will also suffice, since then I could just breed that for the Modest one. So, I'll lend you the Abra now, and I'll have your Barboach by tomorrow night, okay?

Oh, sorry, didn't get your last message. I don't have a Naive Elekid. I can catch one of I can, though not today.
I do have that Murkrow to trade, since they are version counterparts. Though it's for any Misdreavus, if that Modest one is SPECIFICALLY for Elekid

I suppose so. I can't add it to my Pokedex, so, you can keep it if you like. At least until I can catch that Naive Elekid for you.

Aye-aye, cap'n! As I said, I got Murkrow, Stunky, and Cranidos to trade, while I can easily catch a Mime Jr. So, speak to you again when I've got your Naive Elekid! ...Or Electabuzz, if you want it to evolve right away

I already have a Roselia, so, that's not necessary. You're almost to the point where you can go underground, so you can get Shieldon soon, to trade for Cranidos. I forgot where Glameow can be caught though.
I'll log off for the night. But again, I'll catch that Elekid soon as I can. And train up a Barboach too!

I got a female Magby and Magmarizer. But I'll hardly be available from tomorrow on (it's still early afternoon here) since holidays will be over. So if training is too long for you, the Barboach at any level would be good enough as long as I can get it as soon as possible.

I got the Barbroach, no need for it anymore. I give you the Magby and Magmarizer for free, just send any Starly for it. I should still be around until 15:30 UTC.
