I can see Gale Wings on more than one Mega. Mega Swellow included. Actually Swellow seems more likely. As it has it's wings (on the XY model) in a similar position as Talonflame does, with wind (a gale) hitting them. Mega Swellow can get a large boost in it's attack, and a smaller on in it's defenses and speed. Perhaps even a drop in it's special attack to give more to it's physical attack or defenses.
Does anyone think Poliwrath may get a Mega too? I saw it similar to Slowbro's line (except Slowpoke lacks a pre-evo) Maybe with Iron Fist or No Guard.
I wouldn't mind a Mega Politoad. It can get Drizzle as it's ability. Speaking of Drizzle I think Mega Slowking should get it, as the Slowpoke Well mentions the summoning of rain by their (slowpoke's) yawns, so it'll be a nice reference to that.
As for Mega Poliwrath it should turn into a frog or toad, as it's still a tadpole. It should get a large boost in speed and attack. Perhaps with Swift Swim.
Remember how people complained about the designs of the cross-gen evolutions in D/P? Mega Evolutions might as well be the only solution to make them competitively valuable while not ruining their charming appearance with a permenant subjective one.
Isn't that the same reaction people have whenever they come out with new Pokémon ever? I remember the constant complaining that accompanied the release of the Gen 5 starters, but I also remember how it eventually calmed down after people grew to accept and even like them.
It a knee-jerk reaction. People scream about how they hate it and then eventually they move on to the next thing to scream about. It would be the same thing if they introduce more new mega evolutions that people don't necessarily take to.
They look more different than the typical Mega. Honestly though, Mewtwo Y has to be the most radically different looking Mega compared to what it transforms from.
Magmortar though could use a boost. Despite having a rather high bst it isn't that good of a mon...
Pokémon such as Magmortar and Electivire look tank-like. If they were to give them mega-forms without having them look too monstrous, then I suppose they could slightly reduce their bulkiness and whatnot. I'm sure it'd help.
There's always the possibility. There are no rules for Mega designs that are set in stone, so as long as the Mega Evolution resembles its normal form then I'm sure it can be smaller, ex. I can see a slimmer Mega Magmortar with a bigger cannon-arm.
How about Mega Smeargle? It could get the ability Trace and a boost in speed and it's attack stats. Dark Void Mega Smeargle would be annoying though...

Tho I agree. A boost in its attack would be pretty cool, tho Id prefer it to keep Technician, but trace makes more sense.
I have a feeling next CoroCoro we might get another Mega, and perhaps battle frontier....
Megas most people are expecting seem to be
Milotic
Flygon
Sharpedo
Camerupt
Slowking
Gallade
I think we might want these too much. I don't think /all/ of them will be included and it seems it might ruin the gaMes for people if they don't. This kinda sucks tho.
Anyways, I'm hoping they surprise use with another Mega scoop, as it still does feel like we are missing alot of Megas.

I meant in online battles with stranges where no rules are agreed upon before hand. But yeah, the Sleep Clause will come in handy competitively speaking.
Let's see XY didn't reveal Garchomp, Manectric, Tyranitar, Abomasnow, Aggron, Houndoom, Pinsir, Gyarados, Scizor, Heracross, and Medicham.
Those are 11 (if I listed them all). So we may get all of those you listed for us to discover.

Interesting. I thought it was Gyarados and Gardivior we didmy know about. Then again, I don't Remember any of those being officially released, onlt leaked because of the early release....
I really want a Mega Swellow.
I mean, if it gets a big enough attack boost it could reach OU.....and Gale wings
I'm hoping Slowbro gets rapid spin because of its Mega. Maybe a as crazy as this sounds, assault vest Regular Slowbro would be cool and possibly a good spinner(Only for spinning tho, as I wouldn't put AV for any other set)
(only ghosts in OU is Gengar....)
I wonder if we will get another dual Mega Pokemon
Mega Salamence or Milotic seem most likely imo as they are fan favorites...I think
Tho Mega Metagross could too. But also Sceptile or Swampert...but I'd stop the list there
So, we could still be getting quite a few more Megas I guess.
Apparently the Mega Drapion leak I mentioned earlier was actually fake, just something a member of DeviantArt created. It did look really good though, & it would be awesome to see a mega Drapion!^_^
For now I'm still sticking with my original predictions. I don't think Plusle/Minun will get a mega evolution but I guess it's possible (Maybe Electirc/Fairy?). I don't really see Linoone getting a Mega Evolution as it's available so early in game and it doesn't really seem like they've hinted at it yet. They've hinted at mega Zangoose, Seviper, and Milotic though, by putting the Pokemon up on their official website (though the mega forms haven't been announced or confirmed yet, so idk).
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but the player character (Brendan or May) starts out wearing a Mega-Ring. I wonder what this means for the importance of Mega Evolution in the story? I have no doubt that Steven Stone's interest in Mega Evolution will be evident throughout the story.

My apologies, I misread the official website. It actually just points out that they are wearing a mega ring, not that they start with one. However, I still have reason to believe they start with one/recieve one early in game for the following reasons:
The short paragraph at the top says that they are wearing a Mega-Bracelet with a key stone. I must have misread it at first because I thought it said that they start with a mega ring, not that they are simply wearing one. This may mean that they do not start with a Mega Ring and are given it later. Some of the images I
I also included the official character artwork below, as well as screenshots that imply early possession of a Mega-Ring/Bracelet that but it is also on the link above. *Images in spoiler to prevent flood*
Spoiler:
On May's left hand you can see the mega ring. She is sending out Torchic, and fighting a Poochyena, both are unevolved so it is likely that she is in an early area of the game, but the mega ring could have been included simply for testing purposes.
They are both wearing mega-rings on their left arms (your right). It is difficult to see though and it doesn't mean that they start with them, just that it's obtainable in game.
The mega ring is absent on Brendan however, when you look at the following screenshot:
*All of these are from the Official Pokemon Website, Feel Free to Click the Link I provided to see for yourself as well:)
Sorry for misreading that at first, I thought it said "Start with a mega-ring", my bad:/

Lol, I'm so stupid I never noticed the mega bracelets. It's fine, I just ask for sources on everything. Now, May having one and Brendan not early game....hmmmm
Maybe you get it along with your running shoes? That could be the saving Oak battle wwith Brendan too, so you /might/ get it along with your Pokedex possibly.....
That's an interesting theory. I could see the professor giving the Mega Ring to the player, if not Steven Stone (but that would mean they receive it later in the game, at least not until the player first sees Steven, which, in the originals, was in a cave near Dewford Town)
