Naturally, both ones physical and mental health are very important for functioning properly on a day-to-day basis. But what do you consider more important? Your physical, or your mental health?

For me I find that having bad mental health usually coincides with bad physical health, and vice versa. Trying to heal my mental side is good, but it does nothing for my physical side. On the contrary, making myself healthier physically tends to give me a mental boost so I would definitely pick my physical health if for no other reason than it contributes to both.

I consider physical health to be slightly more important than mental health because nowadays, more people are getting obese and they could use education for proper physical health.

I think mental health is more important. What are you without your mental health? If you are mentally sound, you can always have the presence of mind to improve your physical health, but when you lose your mental health everything else deteriorates.

I agree, you could be extremely healthy; six pack abs, bulging arm muscles, flat stomach (if you're a lady) but what use are they if you aren't able to use them? Mental Health is the key to a bright and healthy physical wellbeing, although I tend to also favour the fact that they help one another.

Well I've experienced being mentally "unhealthy" more than I've felt being physically unhealthy, so I'm obviously gonna say mental health is more important. And anyways, having a good mental health is the key to having a good physical health.

    Mental health.

Lately I've just been... down. I have no motivation to do anything anymore. My house is a complete mess. I know it has to be done but I don't do it. And that's just one thing downhill because of how I feel. Having a psychically fit body wouldn't really help me with my motivation. :/

Mental health, for me this is a no-brainer. Like some others said if you have mental health you have the ability to try to get back into physical health.

Of course you could have cancer and die but what kind is one where you're mentally unstable, not sure if I'd want that kind.

That is tough simply because both are so important, however, not have good physical health is REALLY bad because you can die...so I'm going with that. I've never had issues with either, but physical health to me is more important.

Generally, mental health is more important, because mental health is what provides things such as determination and desire to improve your physical health. Without that, everything else suffers as well.
