Meowth's Non-POKéMON Pixel Art

Hey guys... I've been away for months as some of you may know. What have I been doing? Well, I've been making flash animations, but mainly I've been working on my pixel art for various avatar websites.

Here I'll put a bunch of my pixel art I've done... you may not reuse it without permission.

When I first left PC, I left with these:

This is what they potentially looked like when clothed:

Avatar bases. People could pixel items for them and they could be used for your very own characters on a website. Then I got more into it.
I did a heap on Animal Crossing pixel art.

I lost my Tortimer and Tom Nook sprites... but there you have the rest. :D

This is an NPC I made for the site I was working on. His name is Captain Filmreel, he was a movie critic.

Some other stuff for that site I made:

Many more items were created there, Im just not going to post them all.

finally, I just got commissioned. I got paid $40 for these at a site called Monagona.

And clothed:

Compare these to the first ones in this thread, and the comparison you're looking at is the amount I've improved since I left PC back in May. :D

i could tell you were a bit of an artist becuase of your avatar that looks like it was made on paint or something.

Uh... no. I dont have photoshop, I use Fireworks for pixel stuff. And my avatar was indeed drawn in Flash.

Photoshop doesnt look as crisp with their brush tool.

Kudos for moving away from Pokemon.

Your stuff's not bad, but I feel that your shading style leaves room for improvement.
