I know it's been in RSE and FRLG but I don't konw about GSC.

I know it seems illogical, but it ran from me once I switched out from Crobat and then put it to sleep with Chatot. It ran. They changed it somehow... really weird.
 
My use of Sableye worked really well. Future Sight still hits, but I kept a few Hyper Potions on me. Get it in the red with whatever you can, and when the time comes, use Sableye's Mean Look and sit there and watch it struggle.

I used Paralysis over Sleep as well. Mostly because the pokes that can use both Mean Look and Hypnosis are part Poison, which is begging for, say, a Confusion/Future Sight double-whammy KO or something along those lines.
 
Well if your trying to find it, just chase it, but don't use fly, that will make Mesprit teleport to a random location, so, just run through the cities and routes, and don't use your bike, Mesprit will travel faster if you use your bike, so only use it if you have to. It took me about a minute and 30 seconds to find it just by running, and using my bike twice to get on top of sand slopes. But when it comes down to catching it, thats your call, I just migrated 6 Pokemon from my emerald with each of them holding masterballs, so I used a masterball on it! ^^ Also, this goes for the same with Creselia too, also to make this much easier, get the Poke'Tech APP called the Marking Map, which can be obtained at the Poke Tech Company in Jubilife City. So, I hope this helps you a lot. ^_^
 
Can I just ask a question about the Trio? I've just caught Dialga and plan on getting those pokemon, but can I just leave them until I defeat the Elite 4, and they'll still be there? Or do I have to go straight to them? I don't want to end up defeating E4 just to find out I HAD to go the lakes immediatly after Dialga. I do want those pokemon lol.

Seeing them is enough in these games, and I'm fairly certain that you "see" them when you release them from Galactic's control. Or not, in which case you wouldn't have to catch them, but you get much props from others when you do.

you see mesprit when it first runs aways. for other two you need to battle them. If you are so bored trying cathing them just lose. black out. Uxie, azelf will be added your dex and you can capture them later.
 
Mesprit if *^(*^(& p!$$!ng me off!!!! I'm going back and forth up at Snowpoint between routes. It takes about 15 minutes minimum for him to finally come up there each time. When he does, I don't get to throw a single freaking move on him. I pick Block, but before I can use it, he flees. WTF!

EDIT: Same thing happens for me at routes 210 and 215. I don't even get to throw a move on him!

I traded a Gible for a Mesprit on the GTS, but he's a Japan version. If I could change his name, I'd be happy, but I can't. Anyone want a Japanese version for an English version? I don't care if it's legit or not. I only want it for the collecting factor to fill my Dex. I don't battle so legitimacy isn't important to me.
