Before I post my deck, I would like to briefly describe my Pokemon "sob story."
I am new to this site, but not new to the TCG. My collecting begain like many older members on this site, during my elementary years in school, when the original Charizard was at its prime, and opening a Jolteon was "cool," and getting a Clefable was "eh alright." After a hiatus from 5th-7th grade, I started getting more serious into the TCG. I constructed and unbeatable Sally deck with 2 Salamence ex's (ahh ex cards). I obtained many a rare card through my sneaky swindling and persuasion; acquiring all the original shiny pokemon cards, and several gold star cards, and many ex cards...and some rare originals such as the rocket set Dark Charizard, the trainer Here Comes Team Rocket, and even the rare japanese card, the White Star Doduo from the Pokemon Gym Leader set. I digress, I made an unbeatable Sally deck, and formed "The Pokemon Table" at lunch with 3 of my friends, who later with me became known as the Elite 4. We gathered and grew to a united table of 17 members, all who competed during lunch and were told, as a table, to be quite several times by our school vice principle, who can be quoted as saying "Hey, Pokemon table, shutup!" I was, at one point, the best in the school because I could construct unbeatable decks, mainly because I had a persausion skill of obtaining any card I wanted through trade. Rarely did I see the face of defeat...until I lost my most prized Salamence Deck. Pokemon TCG dwindled down to a few meaningless henchmen after the Elite 4 was no more because of the loss of the champion, and people ceased to play because there was no more drive to beat the best. Years went by, and I got upset, as did many Pokemon Seniors, when the Pearl and Diamond sets came out, which was like a reset button to all the great Battlers. And I stopped spending my time with the TCG. (Sad). Now, senior year, I have decided to start collecting again with the 3 founding members, and our "Elite 4" has be re-established. I have few new cards, but I believe I managed to make a decent deck, and I use the term decent losely. So please, critics, be nice, try not to demote me any more than I already have been in the TCG, and judge my deck and provide me with advice.
Here we go.
