4th Gen Mew as a Torterra on GTS

    I was looking through GTS for a Mew when I saw this:

    It was a Mew but it had the picture of a Torterra. You can see a little bit of what I'm talking about on that picture.

    the same exact thing happen to me and I was freaked out, I though there was something wrong with my game or the GTS for a second. But I never though you can hack a Pokemon like that

    Yeah like this guy said, it could have a nickname of mew, and the species is still Torterra
     
    No It happened to me. I put a hacked Ho-Oh for trading it was lv 30 and I got the picture of a aggron I instantly took it back when I saw it and it was still a Ho-Oh. But yeah I think it's only for hacked pokemon that happens to.
     
    yeah i was bored so i was looking for dialga and one person from japan had a pic of a politoad instead
     
    It might be GF's way of combating Hacking....at least for the smart players
     
    Though it only happens some times because after I put up my ho-oh for trade again and it didn't change.

    The Species says Torterra but the nick name is Mew?

    I am not sure.
     
    I had that i put up a budew for a stupid offer com back it's a japanese medicham which didn't fall down like usual then check again it's a budew :(
     
    O_o what the... well anyways I haven't seen anything at all like that... weirdest thing I've seen on GTS is a Level 100 Shiny Magikarp...
