3rd Gen Mew

Ok, one question and only one, is there any possible way to get Mew on Pokemon: Fire Red, without any hacks, glitches, or gameshark. If so, please tell me where to find it. If you're full of a pack of lies, dont bother responding because if im even remotely suspicious about wasting my time, i wont. Thanks everyone and please give answers.

Mew is unobtainable in FR/LG, but it is kind of obtainable in Emerald, through a Nintendo Event... When that comes out, the event happens, and you trade it to FR, you can enjoy Mew all you want. As far as I know, that is the only way to get Mew in the advanced generation of games.

There is currently no way to obtain Mew in any games prior to Emerald without using some sort of cheating device. To obtain it in Emerald, you're required to visit a Nintendo event. After obtaining the Sea Chart, which is necessary to catch Mew, you can pay a visit to World's Edge Island. After making your way through the jungle, you'll come across Mew. It'll conceal itself within the grass, and then you're required to play a game similar to Hide and Seek. When you find Mew, your character will appear to be trapped in the grass. Save your game, press "A", and Mew will reveal itself at Lv30. Catch it, and then you can trade it to FireRed or LeafGreen. Hope this helps. ^_^;

This has aleady been discussed.I asked Lightning to close the other one,I think she did, but if she didn't post there.and there is no way you can get mew in any game without cheats.Only emerald is known to contain him.
