I doubt there is no one here that hasn't seen the first Pok?mon movie. Mewtwo's power there was impenetrable.

I may be slightly biased cuz I hate DBZ to no end, but Mewtwo can deflect anything Goku can throw at him...

Sure, like you all said... Mewtwo has a bunch of abilities that should own Goku, but Goku can overcome any of the abilities.

I doubt that, Goku has been through so much. I dont think some pyshic powers can defeat him, well atleat not that easily. He could use his instant transmision to dige the psychic attacks, then attack mewtwo. I think one good hit on mewtwo could pretty much finish him off.

And don't say Mewtwo could take over his mind. Goku's mind is not that weak.

Mewtwo never wavers formhis goal, and will not show any weakness. mewtwo has taken physical damage before only because he willed it. Charizard hit him, mew hit him, and he get back up as if all that happend was he sat down in a chair. mewtwo is elite, while Goku had to die two or three times to get where he is. mewtwo cannot be killed, becasue his power is infinite. He can do things goku could only dream of doing Ex., when he moved a massive lake teh size ofan ocean underground, while at teh same time leaving the lake bed untouched and whiping the memory of Team Rocket clean. goku couldn't do that unless he blew a whole inteh ground. and used a sledge hammer on everyone's heads. :P

Yea, mewtwo could stop two ryhorn, but goku would blow them up without thinking. Ulimited psychic power? Since when? You keep bringing in factors that make no connection with this battle. How would you know that mewtwo is never caught off-guard? Another factor with no backing or use.

You say that Mewtwo takes physical damage because he is willing. Have you ever seen characters in DBZ spar? You're right about the lake things, but that isn't because of more power, it is because his power is... neater? XD

Some really good points, but you kinda contradicted yourself. You said that we haven't seen Mewtwo's real strength, but you mention the movie, and the fight with Mew. Other than that, all of your other points are perfect.

What I'm trying to say is that we have seen his power used to it's full potential, and it was nowhere near Goku's.
Truthfully, I don't watch Pokemon or DBZ anymore. I was basing this on the 'old' Goku, believe it or not, because I think the 'old' one is strong enough to win vs Mewtwo. I'm sure he has gotten stronger by now. XD

We haven't see metwo use his full power before, becasue otherwise there would have been a fight that actually tired him. :P Mewtwo never tired, and never got hurt. he was basically playing around, and teh reason why he got hit by mew was because his barrier was not up at the time. And he got up. Mewtwo's physcial resiliency is a lot greater than goku's. No matter what teh blast, if Goku got dug into the ground like that he would be scratched and bloody and would have a difficult time getting up. It happens every time. But Mewtwo got up in a split second, unharmed, and sounding rather amused in my opinion. mewtwo could probably Let himself take a blow from goku and get up with no physical harm. He was designe to be the worlds strongest pokemon, and there are a lot of uber powerful pokemon out there. The whole time at teh island, he kept them alive instead of killing thjem on teh spot because it wouldn't help his plan, and 4kids has a thing against killing beyond what happened to Ash.
