MIA and Rocket

Toren's gaze rested longingly at the mayor, but soon looked at his Quilava who rested on the floor, curled up into a small ball. The trainer smiled and rubbed the fire Pokemon gently behind its ears.

"You think we can handle this job, buddy? We've gotta sneak into a Rocket base and gather some information about the missing Pokemon...What do you think?"

Quilava climbed to his feet immediately and looked around like a trained guard. He was anxious to battle and kick some Rocket butt.

Toren nodded and walked up to the mayor, feeling slightly intimidated as he did so. The man has this air of power about him, which made Toren feel weaker than usual.

"So, umm... Do we need any more information before we leave? Or do we just go straight to the base?"

Scott raised his left eyebrow at the uniform. "I am not gonna wear that, I'll just add an 'R' to my clothes and tell the supervisors I'm off. Scott thought to himself as he placed an 'R' on his shirt. "The others can wear the uniform, I ain't gonna waste time putting it on... Besides it ain't even my size."

"Um?" a sound came from behind Scott. It was an Umbreon, staring at its master in puzzlement.
"Don't worry Umbreon, we're leaving. The uniform looked dorky anyway." Scott said to his pokemon, walking out of the room and into the hallway. "Now where are the supervisors? They should be nearby somewhere..."

Anuka stared down at the uniform that covered her. The darkness of it was good for stealth, but a giant "R" on everything? How ridiculous. Why not just advertise that they were up to no good; Flash some lights: HEY guys we're over here!

She sighed. At least I'll be making money off of this. And it can't be that hard to do. Anuka turned to the others around her. Some new trainers just like herself. She was wary of them though, part of being constantly hidden was not trusting people. Yet they could help her, it would be nice to be able to rely on someone finally, especially since even her own pokemon couldn't always be counted on...

Her eyes shifted to the girl near her wearing a dusty uniform as well. The orange-haired girl looked benevolent enough, and Anuka stood and faced her.
"So..." she paused, nervous but not showing it. "...have any idea what floor we should be on?" Anuka finished her question, trailing off at the end slightly. She had to start somewhere.

Mark stared at the card. He put it in his pocket for safekeeping and looked around at the others. After a short while, he turned back towards the mayor.

"There is nothing left to be said, right?" Mark asked. He now just really wanted to find a way to tell himself that this would be easier than he was making it sound, but this was something he had never done before. He just had to hold it for awhile and hope that whatever the plan is to enter find out about Team Rocket, that they think of it quick and get done with it.
